Just for the record - there are two clips of the same Obama speech from two different venues in North Carolina. Odd that he scratches his face with his middle finger during both speeches at the exact same point in the speech - when he mentions Clinton's name. You can easily find both video clips - they are floating around all over the Internet.

It is unbelievable what people will "report" on. You, Ms. Erbe, have no class, and true journalists like Edward R. Murrow and Eric Savareid would hang their heads in shame! As a matter of fact, while typing this response, I reached up and scratched my forehead, and guess what??? I noticed it was with my middle finger; the only reason I noticed was because of your asinine 'reporting'. Why don't you check and see how many times you use your middle finger for mundane things without implication?

I wonder what the rest of the world thinks about us? This is an issue? People are loosing their homes, children are going hungry, our elders can't pay for the medicines they need to stay healthy and alive and we're concerned about a wayward finger that everyone has used to scratch somewhere before? Are you all REALLY that desperate to win? When someone stoops this low to support their candidate, it shows their candidate is truly unworthy or they would not accept nor encourage this type of support.
We all should remember one thing...God is watching, listening and taking note. So is the rest of the world. So when we claim how free America is; and how we are equal to everyone. Just remember your postings on these websites during this election season, because, what you are REALLY showing the rest of the world is the TRUE underbelly of these alleged "United States". This is the real unity that they do not see. They are getting an eye full now aren't they? Thank you my fellow Americans for showing your true colors. Some of you can't even hear what is being said because of the color of his skin, and PLEASE, I beg you, what haven't you had taken away from you or haven't you lost that you would be willing to vote Republican again? Please explain that to me!?! I'm serious, please explain how you enjoy loosing your jobs, your homes, your savings, not being able to pay for your food or medicine. What do you tell your children? At least I voted Republican? Well whoop do doo, did it feed them, put a roof over their head, pay for their medication? What is wrong with all of you? Look, the best way to resolve this is to watch his speeches where he does not mention Hillary, and see if he scratches his face.
Personally I see no sign that it was anything but an innocent scratch.
I think those jumping on this, though they are clearly feeling very sensitive now (and I am female so do not take that in a sexist way), should think more positively. Even if their candidate loses, they are still getting someone who will bring them whatever she would have.
As for Wright, if he is such a hater then why can't we see entire sermons preaching hate and racism? How can this argument be based on teeny snippets? Doesn't context count??
