This mouse has legs-or at least a slick-turning wheel that sends it dashing through documents. Logitech yesterday unveiled its new MX Revolution mouse, which packs useful new functions onto the lowly pointing device.

You may have heard that St. Louis got socked by several big storms this summer. One knocked out power to more than a half-million people, including our house for nearly four days. That particular storm caught many folks by surprise, popping up seemingly out of nowhere, as they sometimes do on hot, humid days. But we were alerted it was coming.

Toddlers don't sit still. That's obvious with our two young boys, their heads and hands a mere blur in too many snapshots. So when I went shopping for a new digital camera, "image stabilization" was high on my list.
