Please help! Can I get help with my loan. I now have 4 children & still no way to pay back my student loan. The IRS is attaching our income tax, our car is being repo. Thur. If u have some good advice I don't have to pay for. We moved to Tenn. In hopes of a better life from Nevada.

Our oldest son is 17 and o don't even know how we are going to afford to send him to college. Thank u

HOPE: Government help for good students

The HOPE scholarship helped me so much and I would like to encourage other states to have this program as well. This scholarship is full tuition given to students with 3.0 and above who reside in GA and go to GA public universities or technical schools. This way bright students who should be going to college can receive assistance. I know that someone has to be the one to flip burgers, but it's a shame when it is someone who has so much potential and cannot afford college. Thanksfully, HOPE does not discriminate against your parent's financial situation. My parents made too much money for me to receive grants for being poor, but did I see a cent of help from my parents. NO! It is not fair that many government education assist programs only help children of poor parents b/c many of us do not receive parental assistance when we turn 18. The greatest thing about HOPE is that it is paid for by lottery tickets! What a clever way to raise revenue by taking from people who wish they were rich without working for it and giving it to those who will get an education and work for their wealth!

plse help to pay off student loan

I am mother of my son who is in college right now and paying his student loan. whatever I earn i can't save for raining day and also i have my own expenses as well. my husband lost his business and he is unemployed. i have my daughter who is in college as well. both of my children have part time job, but this is not enough to pay off their loans. i want to give education to my children but i can't afford it. student loan balance is not decreasing when i get bill every month. i'm so devastated and asking for help. please tell me where can i get help to pay off 12K?

I am in clinical and for student loans and need help to pay.

My situation

I am an RN and have been working in Public Health/Local Government job part-time for the last six years. Because my job is part-time I do not qualify for any public service or RN loan forgiveness-this totally STINKS! I am part-time, with no benefits, might I add because they do not have the money to hire me for at least 32 hours per week. I love my job and love what I do (obviously) because who would work at a low paying job for 6 years with no benefits ? My husband works hard, we have 3 kids, a morrtgage and other debts to pay. I keep deferring or forbearing and my student loan balance keeps increasing....I just do not know what to do at this point...

Since you already have your RN license, look into working for the VA. They have an education debt reduction program, and will pay for job-related educational expenses (like many employers) if you promise to work for a certain amt of time.

Help pay my student loan

I currently have a default in owosso, mi for a student loan and now I can't finish the last two classes and my clinical to graduate here in chicago, il. I have an autistic four year old and my schedule gets very hectic with his schooling, therapy and being a single mother: it's difficult to find employment around what my son needs.Because of this lack of work my only income for us to survive is my son's ssi child disability benefits.I feel so hopeless and just desire to clear this default to obtain my massage therapy certification and provide my son with a life to help him the best I can by being more financially stabled and well-rounded as a independent mother.Even finding childcare so I can work has been a hastle.I feel like I'm at a dead-end with nowhere to turn.Please to whom it may concern help us in anyway you can.

student loans

I borrowed 12,250 for my college education to become a Registered Nurse. I took out these loans in the early 90s and after three deferments and consolidation I owe 30,000. I want to go back to school but because my loans are now over 23000 I am not eligible of student loans. I need help paying my student loans down fast. Does anybody have any ideas.
