Nuclear Iran: Get used to It

So now the American mullahs, having destroyed OUR economy, are ready to sit down with THEIR mullahs. Now that's equality! So Iran having nuclear weapons will provide yet another excuse for America to act civilized for a change, though it is sad and pathetic that we seem to only be able to do that when the other dude has nukes. A nuclear Iran is a good thing, which only a neo-conman would disagree with, since a strong Iran that is not threatened by a failing America, desperate to maintain hegemony, will play cautiously from a strong hand. States with strength treat other strong states with prudent respect.

AEI & Micael Ledeen

we hate MULLAH, but we hate the gang at AEI more

or

in other words, anyone of the opposite religion.

Yes,

that's correct, Muser. I'd say it's pretty difficult to trust any country but your own country with nuclear weapons, especially a country with a population that largely hates anyone living in the US just for being an American.

Tired Moronic Claptrap

Iran's nuclear program is massively popularamong the people of Iran who deeply resent foreign powers meddlig in their affairs. Incidentally, Iran has built several gas refineries and has a massive program to convert its autos to use CNG, so a gasoline embargo is useless. Anyway there is absolutely no evidence of any "nuclear weapons program" in Iran, except in the minds and rhetoric of pro-Israeli rightwinger nuts. And Iran's nuclear program started under the Shah, with the encouragement and support of the United States, because it makes economic sense for Iran to continue to export oil rather than use it up at home.

LET'S GET IT OVER WITH....

Let the Israelis take 'em out and put the word out on the QT. that nobody touches Israel when the smoke settles. We still have a relatively "big stick" - Let's use it before it's too late.

Sounds like

you're saying we cannot trust Iranian leaders with nukes and we can trust deeply frustrated Iranian people with nukes even less so.

You can't get rid of the false and dangerous beliefs of the adherents of Islam. But you CAN deny them nukes---and one way or another, we had better do so.
