Polar Bears...

Wow, almost forgot to cheer FOR GLOBAL WARMING! Why, simple. Last winter in the Northeast we had a very mild temp range. This meant that we used far less fossil fuels to heat our homes, so, less Co2! Voila, global warming is a good thing. See how easy it is to switch sides here?

polar bears

Wow, too bad we can't tap the energy generated by these posts! Global warming is a recurring, natural cycle geologically according to my sources, fact. Unfact: Humans caused it, and can stop it. Now for the main point, Al Gore is NO scientist, did NOTHING as VP, and doesn't even understand that the primary human negative interaction w/ the Earth is OVERPOPULATION! But the Leftist, PC weenies won't dare address that, will they? Send out equal amounts of birth control pills with food shipments to the Third World and we might have a chance. But we won't, adios future...

The Emperor Has No Clothes.....

Welll, at least I didn't invest in the opening of the Northwest Passage due to sea ice melt. I'd bet that there's lots of venture capitalists in Canada biting their nails as the earth cools and the economic development of Northern Canada recedes into the distance!

Global Warming scaremongers are just frustrated Communists who have to have something to argue against industrial Capitalism with. Even the founder of Greenpeace had to quit his own organization because he couldn't stomach their garbage.

Can I see proof?

I don't see any scientific studies to back up your claim that polar bears are increasing in population numbers. Could you please show me the proof of your claim?

Ken of Wa.

I usually publish the entire Environmentalist Creed... You must have missed it from previous posts - So here it is, just for you;

"All forms of human endeavor are evil. The only acceptable forms of interaction between man and Nature are: Restoration, Preservation, Conservation and Veneration."

If you don't believe this Ken than I suggest you just try to build a factory, road, house, marina, campground, or just about anything. The enviro-wackos will swarm all over you with regulations and lawsuits - I could tell you stories...

Of course a certain amount of environmental protections are needed. I simply happen to believe that the pendulum has swung much too far left - I just hope my feeble efforts might influence others to see the need to return to the sanity of the center. I can see you won't be joining us.

And yes Ken, I do read - A few of us on the coasts still do. With all the dreary weather in Washington perhaps you could find time to read something other than, The Huffington Post or the Daily Kos...

Perhpas even expand your reading beyond ALGORE, Raehel Carson, Hitchins, Dawkins and Paul Ehrlich (Is he still ranting - I mean writing?)

By the way Ken, Michael Crichton, wrote a nice essay/speech on the subject of Environmentalism as a religion. You might find it interesting - or not.

And Ken, I've been writing about the evolution of environmentalism into the religion of Environmentalism for more than 12 years - Long before Crichton wrote his essay. Though I must admit he did a much better job of it than I ever have.

So now Ken, I'm going back to my dark corner and continue to drool and cackle hysterically. In my more lucid moments I go outside and burn tires and plastic to prevent the next Ice Age.

Really?

"restrictionist?" "Hate all human endeavor?" You're really utilizing these terms? Aren't the actions of the "restrictionists" in themselves human endeavors? Are you saying environmentalists aren't human? Do you hear yourselves? Do you read news from any other sources? Perhaps an international science article or two might help you. "State religion?" Are you even serious? Is this the onion?

Perhaps you're just ignorant, which would be forgivable. Your literacy level indicates that that's a distinct possibility.

Dark Cloud Silver Lining

If the environmentalists, can actually stall some wasteful Federal spending (my apologies for the repetition), they will have made a contribution to the welfare of the Republic.

About that Global Warming

According to Al Gore's movie, what's known as "global warming" is also the thing that's going to make Europe freeze over in a few years. So the polar bears will indeed have somewhere to live.

We just need to build public infrastructure, starting with a public transportation system for these bears, and everyone will be happy.

POLAR BEARS - DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY

Enough with the polar bears already. They survived the last interglacial period of global warming just fine. They did an amazing thing, they moved inland and adapted.

Populations of polar bears have increased over 100% in the past 25 years. The population is healthy and expanding - notwithstanding ALGORE’S and his acolytes rantings and froth.

The latest evidence suggests that the earth is entering a natural “cooling period” and that perhaps another Ice Age (period of glaciation) is about to begin.

I’m guessin’ here, but I think that a lot more “bio-mass” exists in the tropics than in under, in or on top of a glacier. Where would you rather be sitting, under a palm tree or a glacier?

Remember, Environmentalism has evolved into the State Religion and its dogmatic followers hate all form of human endeavor- Only “real” science can stop it.
