Mitch off!

Mitch Daniels for President. What a laugh! Are the Republican that desperate? Please run him! That way we can keep a Democrat in the White House!

Best Governor in my lifetime

Mitch Daniels is the best governor we have had in this state in my 52 year lifetime. The democrat speaker of the Indiana House is the worst type of politician who covets power not solutions to problems. Mitch Daniels runs circles around him in every way. Mitch Daniels is extremely intelligent and focused on proper governance. I emailed him critical of a decision and he responded to my email promptly. Mitch Daniels is not a pretty boy politician like Evan Bayh or Barack Obama, but he takes a statesman's approach to solving problems in Indiana. We are fortunate to have him on our side.

Typical conservative Hoosier

Short sighted and only concerned about the next election. Indiana must evolve and we need to create more job opportunities. Indiana has one of the worst brain drains of any state in the country. This is especially egregious when you consider Indiana has three world class universities and world famous universities: Indiana University Bloomington, Purdue University West Lafayette, and the University of Notre Dame, South Bend. Dump Mitch and embrace the Indiana Democratic Party

DITCH MITCH!!!

The only time you see the man, is when he can falsely claim that he has influenced an economic boon for our state. In many cases, the corporations that have moved here were already in negotiations prior to anything "The Little Emperor/The Blade" had done. Our state is sinking right along with the rest of the country as a result of budgetary mistakes that are now starting to show their ugly heads. Where is Mitch? He is a publicity hound, and knows very well how to milk the media to fool the constituents of Indiana into voting for him. Indiana is a rock solid Red state, and to be honest he really didn't have any serious competition in the last election.

With his "Pirates of the Caribbean" background music playing behind his well padded info points. Serious money went into the spit and polish, needed to bring a sparkle to the man that helped "W" destroy our country. DITCH MITCH!

Republicans are so pitiful in their attempts to keep their party on life support, by putting people like Palin on high...to distract from their morbid failures politically. She looks nice...that's it. Nothing more. Mitch is a Washington insider from way back, and will never change. Washington is not working for the people, and I don't (Personally) see it being fixed by 2012. Mitch would get slaughtered by Obama in 2012. Running him, might be good for a laugh or two...that's about it. Most folks that live in this state, that are not jaded with red eyes, just for simply "keeping up with the Jones'"to look good....KNOW he is wrong for our state now...and would never be right for our country! Most folks I know living here, are perfectly willing to pretend to go along with the GOP agenda in Indiana...so they will not be treated like trash for thinking logically.

Indiana, is sinking. Mitch and his advertising folks are already in the life boat. Michael Barone is obviously in there with them. I guess the rest of us can just get used to the taste of icy cold salt water.

please do not close this home down!

we as tax payers do not have a choice to pay taxes and we most certainly do not have a choice where our money go's! if you close this home down before you give us the tax payers a chance to be heard then this is closing the door on the importance of this home!!the children our future tax payers of our country!!!sorry is after its to late and the world does not have the pride it once stood for because of the all mighty dollar!!

i plead for you to change your mind and let the tax payers that are willing save this home!!!could you imagine what our ancesters would think of how we do business and what is important and what can be sold out at whom expense!! most of all there has to be away to make everyone come out a winner here!

some of thses kids do not have a home to go to! and most certainly the homes they had might not be ready for them to come home to!! and the state will put kids into a world that they dont belong just because you say the tax payers have a problem!!did you ask?hmm...bet you wouldnt like what you heard!!ill keep you all in my prayers to do what is right and not just right for the so called goverment it is we the people if you have forgoten!!!!!!

Good ole Dave...typical ME generation...

If any of you want to see what the Me Generation looks like, look at Dave. According to Dave, it is Mitch Daniels fault that he and his wife are not living where they should be. Maybe, just maybe, Dave, you should do something for yourself instead of waiting for the government to help you. People like you are what our founders feared...those that cared nothing for the nation, but only cared about what they could get out of the nation. Why are you so jealous of other people and what they have? Why don't you actually create something for yourself instead of whining about what the government has done to you. Typical...

????

Residents of Indiana some of them really need to look at action vs what is proclaimed. Ethical and political do not run together in Mitch. Hey look over here let me get you concerned with this section, while I do some changes over here that while I have to concerned about problem A, so I can get these changes over here done before anyone is the wiser!

Mitch state equiptment, transportation, etc. is to be used for goverment use only. So you go to place A, once you are done there you return. No evenings out on the tax payers dollars.

Indiana Soldiers & Sailors Children's Home

We the residents& former residents of the Indiana Soldiers & Sailors Children's Home are fighting to keep our Home open.

The Governor decided that the Home cost too much for the taxpayers to maintaain; it was the responsibility of the Indiana Department of Health to maintain the Home; the Home has been neglected for several years so he , Dr. Judith Monroe. David Long and Mr Fox decided to quit funding the home and close it in order to set up a Prison on the Home ground.

Our Home is for at risk children, You have probably seen the stories in various newspapers and on tv, so I don't need to rehash everything except that our Home needs to stay open for the good ofor those children that are there now and the children in the future. We have been fighting this since January of this year. Closing the Home plot took place about two years ago, and the Alumni fought it; along with many other who know about After Mitch was reelected, he picked up where he left off. There are many children who could benefit from being in our Home, but DOH doesn't want anyone to know about the Home. It has been housing children since 1865

I graduated from the Home in 1953; we have Alumni Members who graduated as far back as 1939; we must be doing right; we have Alumni who have their own Businesses; heart surgions; actors; famous sports celebraties, and many other accomplishmets

Not my man

Yea all I can say is screw that Mitch is running for pres if he gets it im moving out of this country he already screwed my family. Since he became gov my wife took a pay cut when we were already strugling to make it. Had to down grade so much that we now live in a trailer people can say yes but look at what he's done for our state yea thats's exactly what im saying he fixed the budget by giving paycuts to people that did'nt need them the only people that hes helped are those that are well off so I say Mitch for pres screw that.

Mitch for Pres

Ok here it is February 2009 couple of months after the story was posted and Mitch's decisions in the State of Indiana look better and better. There are only 5 states that aren't shaking the tin cup looking for spare change, guess what, Indiana is one of them. Hoosier conservative values could get our country out of a historical mess....if it's not too late. The bad side of the story is Mithc Daniels does what he says and he says he not interested in more than Govenor Mitch...too bad.
