The Sleeping Giant
Dead Tree Edition (http://deadtreeedition.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-sleepy-is-giant.html) notes that African-American candidates often do worse than the polls indicate, presumably because some people are unwilling to admit to pollster that they won't vote for a black candidate. If true, many states supposedly leaning to Obama could be closer than the polls indicate.
Do we know who Barack Obama is?
Do we really know who Barack Obama is and can we truly trust this man as the new President of this great nation? My answer is no to both parts of this question. We simply do not have enough information about him. There are too many unanswered questions that neither the candidate, nor his campaign will provide.
There is a thick cloud of secrecy, vagueness and risk surrounding his character, his proposals, his past, and his associations.
Can we really trust such a man to be in control of the largest nuclear arsenal of the world? Can we really trust such a man to be the Commander in Chief of the most powerful armed forces in the world? Can we really trust such a man to respect and promote our individual freedom and opportunity when he often favors Karl Marx’s ideas in his conversations?
The answers to all of the above questions are a solid “NO”. I say Obama is not trustworthy. There is too much at stake. We should not let this happen. Vote for McCain!

Mr. Barone
Have lost all respect for you given these woeful analysis
you are trying to play it both ways like the rest of the media
I think that no matter the outcome this is the end of polling and the media = all of you
I won't be "fine" if Obama wins. Let's see- socialism or freedom AND THIS IS A CHOICE?!!! Oy! I can't believe there are so many ill-informed Americans canceling out my well informed vote. They're all warm and fuzzy about "hope" and "change". I can think of some past leaders in the history of the world and they too ran on platforms of hope and change. It didn't work out quite so well. Once freedom is lost, it's lost. This country is going to experience buyer's remorse on a massive scale. I hope everyone is impressed with the Pelosi/Reid congress because we're getting ready to get that ON STEROIDS!
obama landslide popular...mccain wins electoral
It's amazing how many great ads could be made to coal states, to jewish and christian zionists, to free market capitalists, to defenders of the constitution with all that is suddenly coming out about obama...
Don't you kind of wish the MSM had properly vetted their candidate before anointing him?
I was on Hugh Hewitt discussing my phone call with Rashid Khalidi the other day and posted it at my blog...
For more on my phone call as well as to learn more about Obama's definition of "Middle Class" among other things, check out my blog...

Civility and Dictatorship
I still believe that McCain can win and hope that he does. I never want to see all the branches of government controlled by either party. If Obama wins and the Democrats achieve a filibuster proof majority in the Senate the Supreme Court will shortly follow and then the country is doomed. I mean that literally because I believe that Democrats don't generally govern as well as Republicans. The last two years with the Democrats in control of the House and the senate are my most recent arguments supporting my statement. There are too many more to list here.
Do you want a dictator? Do you want to hand the reins to the largest capitalistic nation in the world to a Marxist? Do you want to see the most effective military on the planet in the control of a dictator who can't tolerate questions from Joe the Plumber and has close associations with known terrorists and America haters? Do you want any wealth that you or your children ever earn to be shared with someone who didn't work harder or smarter?
I hope my faith in the American people is not misplaced. I believe that regardless of polls and attempted voter suppression through demoralization by mass media, that McCain will be our next President.
Left tom the actual voting now.
I guess all that's left is to get through the 'formality' of Voting. I plan on watching some returns, but by no means will I waste one decent night's sleep over whether the country is moving to the Marxist camp.
Interesting analysis
Early in the evening when PA, VA and OH close will pretty much tell the tale. If they fall McCain's way then he's got a shot - otherwise I can't see how he gets to 270.
The last minute polls had Maine and New Hampshire as possible toss ups. Given the bias' most of the pollsters built into their formulas, and how similar they are to the same mistakes from 2004, my suggestion to McCain's supporters is not to cut your throats just yet.

How about the 4 million Pumas ready to pounce on the 4th?

Surprise surprise, they should never have thrown Hillary under the bus and been so vile to Sarah Palin. Pumas Bite!
See you at the polls.
