Rams

God I hope you're right.

Seriously?

Any Saxby Shameless voter complaining about fairness in ads is laughable. I can't wait to cast my vote for Jim Martin on Tuesday.

Political Prediction

Michael Barone will eat crow on Nov. 5th.

The election

I really pray that you are wrong that Obama will be elected. I have two sons in college and don't know if my husband and I can afford him. I would like to see a perfect storm happen, and a few democrats get kicked out of office to make things a litle bit more fair. Maybe a little bit more balanced, and make the senate and the congress actually work together and get some real work done.

RINOs

The real problem with the RINOs in the senate is there are too few of them. Do you want to be in the majority but having to deal with moderates or in the minority and getting steamrolled?

Today the senate is 49 donkey, 49 elephants and 2 llamas who support the donkey. If we had two more RINOs Reid would not be setting the agenda.

We primary'd out most of the moderates, even the moderate elephants in moderate states.

Compounding the lack of RINOs is the poor performance of our brand over the past 12 years.

Next week will be a bloodbath, elephant blood. Going forward the right wing will need to decide whether they want to welcome the RINOs back or sit on the back benches and carp about how unfair it is that 35% of a party of 30% of the nation can't always do what they want to do.

Blue RINO

Rinos

I agree. WIth the RINOs the dems wont need 60. 58 should be enough.

Thank you Mr. Barone

Thank you Mr. Barone

The story of this election is how a socialist radical hid behind his media enablers. There are many more real Americans than radicals. Obama was allowed to brainwash so many silly Americans, but I have a feeling November 5th the MSM will discover the strength of the American People.

And Obama will see you cannot fool all the people all the time.

There are scandals out there and even if Obama wins, he will spend the next 4 years fighting the truth.

Thank God for Sarah! I only hope she runs for the House in 2010, and the newly returned Republican Majority impeaches Obama and Biden and Speaker Sarah starts her 10 year run as President.

Sarah will save us, so Republicans don't listen to MSM liars! Send this article by Mr. Barone to everyone you know!

We can save our country from socialism!

The numbers might be moot

Given that not all Republicans vote as a unified block, the Democrats don't actually need to control 60 seats to get a filibuster-proof majority. Instead of concentrating on that magical 60 Democrats, it would be wiser to concentrate on how many actual people there are in the Senate who will vote to end a Republican-backed filibuster.

Taken from that perspective, I think it highly likely that this number will be reached, regardless of how many Democrats, Republicans or Independents are in the Senate.

Hey Heidi...

You forgot to mention; Schumer, Frank, Boxer, Feinstein, Al Franken , Maxine Waters, and Chris Dodd - San Francisco values running amok.... God help us...

Hi Mike

Love your work and fervently hope you are right!

Do you think the intrade odds on the POTUS race reflect the real chances?
