blacks only voting for obama because he is black

for some blacks that might be the case. but not all.

the majortiy of us are looking at what the canidates are bring to the table. i was undecided until i listen to what each of them had to say. if mccain was running against hillary clinton

her policies was by far better for me. i was diagnosis with lupus 14 yrs. ago, i need to know where they all stand.

so color was no, and is not an issue for me.

mccan policy just don't do it for me.

i don't know why some? some white think so little of us.

clarence thomas is black he was not my favorite.

condolesa rice not my favorite.

i understand why some whites are scared of a black president.

but would you realy vote for someone that you do not agree with his or her policies just because they are of another color.

obama

oh is Obama black ? I had not noticed,,we vote for the man here,,honest trustworthy straightforward, someone we weill have faith in, it's time for a change, too bad Gore/Kerry presidencies did not work out, what a loss.

Smart_voters

There are still undecided voters out there, and we are smarter than that. American people know John McCain, but who is the real Barack Obama with a thin thin resume, abrief career as a community-organizer and lawyer, no experiences and no real government achievements? Obama reminds us of the ghost of Jimmy Carter, with big spending, big government-control and higher taxes, and he will cause deeper recession, and even another Great Depression.

deficit

I think the Repubs planned to leave the Dems w/this mess, they do not care they say, let the Democrats clean up the country.Repubs should really clean out this whole mess, but we Dems do not want McCain Palin in office..it's just another 4 yrs of Bush. let's give Obama/Biden a chance.

signs

almost ALL Obama lawn signs here in Michigan...we're proud to display them..all upbeat volunteers @ Headquarters! the elite are upset McCain left Mich. high & dry after they held fund raisers for him & Romney.

race

this time white voters WILL vote for an African American /biracial/ President & won't people be surprised when he brings us all together. do not expect miracles..it will not happen overnight. sometimes it takes 2 terms. maybe Colin Powell will help w/his guidance to bring troops home & end war. he's probably embarrassed to have been associated w/Bush. Warren Buffet & Michael Bloomberg & Lee Iacocca will help ,let's hope for the best !NO MORE WARS !

Race

It's absolutely amazing how it is looked upon as racist when there is a contention that white voters won't vote for an african american candidate. Yet, when 95% of black voters wont vote for a white candidate, it's not. There are far more caucasians willing to look at a candidates viewa, record and experiences than that of african americans or the media.

mc cain

McCain said Sunday "I will whip Obama's "you know what" ..& in the 2nd debat he used the 2 words "stinkin corpse" ...not very refined not charming not presidential..I feel hate coming from McCain ..he's angry, he's hateful ..he may have dementia..am surprised Arizona voted him for the Senate so many times...the state of AZ may support Obama this time..they have a wonderful Gov. Janet Napolitano ..a Democrat..sharp & intelligent & charming & refined....McCain may be ready for a retirement home..

Obama Lead

It does appear that Sen. Obama has a 6 - 8 point lead Nationally that is completely attibutable to the Credit Crisis and Wall Street meltdown. Prior to Lehman Bros. tanking McCain had pulled even and might of even had a small lead. That tells me Obama's lead was not generated based on his campaign or ideas, but based on events that really aren't in anyone's control. If there can be a 8+ point swing in two weeks there can certainly be a swing back in 20+ days. I think you are gonig to find a similar situation to when Obama kept losing primaries at the end to Clinton but had piled up enough points to run out the clock. He may very well be able to take a knee and run out the clock again, but he will not win by a landslide. Only one Democrat in the last 40 years has won more than 50% of the vote, and that was Carter against an incredibily damaged President Ford. And that was only 50.5%. Even if Obama does win, he won't get more than 51% of the vote in a year where the Democrat should be winning by 10+ points.

secret service

does Obama have more secret service than McCain? Geo H W Bush had a "taster" for 4 yrs. was he afraid of being poisoned? Clinton did not, he ate everything, in those days it was a lot of McDonalds.are the secret service attorneys as well as law enforcement ? and we pay, right? the taxpayers pay? Nancy Reagan wore a bullet proof slip.
