Mainstream Media Should Pay Attention to Obama's Ties to William Ayers

Lets be realistic here... Of course one cant assume that Obama and Ayers go that far back (to when the Weather Underground bombed the capitol), but I think the real question here is if Ayers and Obama had close associations and then attempted to conceal them. It does not matter what political views you have, this is about the truth... and then telling the complete truth. We are talking about a presidency here, not the CEO of a company!

Also, the same questions could be asked of McCain, specifically as to how his mental state was affected by being a POW in the Vietnam war. Does he have reoccuring trauma, or anything else that we should know about?

Stick to the facts, and tell the truth! That is an excpectation we have of our elected officials! If they fail this litmus test, even on a relatively simple yet material matter, then there is a reason to dump that candidate! It just takes me back to "it depends on what "is" is"! Was it worth all the hassle with Clinton? No! Did he lie? YES! What should have happened? I think that only Bill has that answer to that one, especially seeing that he too is a lawyer and understand better than most what purgery is all about, and he should probably stepped down! But he didnt, history moved on, and on, and on!

Oh well! Soon we can vote, and then this misery will be over for another three years...and then campaiging starts all over again!!!

Likely had a role in writing the Articles of Incorporation. Nearly 100 million $$$$ has flowed through CAC. I guess Obama was a good "community organizer" Just what has CAC accomplished for the 100 million $$$$ ???? Will mainstream media have enough integrity to investigate this?

It simply is almost shocking that the Main Stream Media wants so desparately to elect a liberal that they do not even care who they send to the White House. Obama's ties with Ayers and Khalidy, not to mention Rezco and Wright is very scary. He funded $70,000 to Khalidy who was a former PLO terrorist and we all know what Ayers did and got away with. But to have Obama launch his political career at Ayers home and work side by side with Ayers on the Woods Fund as Chairman his hardly "someone who lives in my neighborhood" as Obama has tried to portray. America needs to wake up but unfortunately liberals don't care if Obama is a terrorist and don't care he has associated himself willingly with these people. As usual, Michael Barone shows intelligence in his arguments comparable to that we'd expect from Ray Barone. Yes, some people took radical stands and did inappropriate things in the 60's. Some of them are unrepentant, and some have repented. But many have gone on to lead productive lives in this country. Does that mean someone who serves on any organization with them (even the PTA) and holds an officer position (calling chairman of the board of an organization like CAC is certainly a stretch as an "executive position") is to exhibit guilt by association? Sorry, this column is absurd.

No Obama is not a terroist, however he has continuously had relationships with perople of quaestionable political views. If John McCain had even one of the type relationships that Barack Obama has he would not be able to run for dog catcher, but in this society where everyone is busting at the seems to try to show they are not predujice and will vote for a many with no presidential capabilitis relationships with Ayers, Wright, Falgen, Acorn, Resco, etc., etc., etc. How stupid are the people of this nation all we hear about is posible white backlash, how about 95% black backlash regardless of Obama's abilities. Obama gave millions to ayers through his position as CEO of the Chicago Annenburg Ahallenge and who can say where it went since there was no evidence of improvement in education in the Chicago ghetto with all of this money spent. Did he fail? How about he was the lawyer for Acorn a left leaning, Democratic organization accussed of voter fraud (Barack faught to keep deep people on the voter list). Wayne and other Obamabots

People who try to point out Obama's failings will get little results with persons like Wayne. Like the saying its the little things that count--take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves. If you want to really see what someone is like, watch the small not extremely obvious characteristics. I was a small child during WW2 but remember the posters because that was what a caught a child's attention. It did not get passed me how much Obamas poster shown so often is like the poster of Mussolini, chin raised and arrogant. Most of Obama supporters are too young to know. His supporters here try to dismiss his association with Ayers as minor. But the minor things as Ayers, Rezko, the means of obtaining his political steps up the ladder, his community activism with ACORN, Rev. Wright all add up to something big. But Obama supporters have already been caught up in the "change" word forgetting that change is not always positive. There has been a change on Wall Street at this moment but certainly not for the better. Reason falls on deaf ears when talking to Obama supporters.

Ayers-Obama

No, Obama is not a terrorist, he is just a close associate of a terrorist-bomber who quite recently refused to apologize for participating in a group that bombed the Pentagon (and also killed people) saying he should have done "more", not less.

That association was NOT when Obama was eight years old, but as recent as 2001, when they were partners in a radical educational organization which they jointly ran.

Obama has also minimized his ties to Ayers in his statements to the media, and when media outlets have aired the truth, Obama has threatened them with FCC action.
