Washington Snow

"In the East region of Washington (the part of the state where it snows)"

Western Washington State includes Olympic National Park. There are glaciers year-round.

Liberal Hatred

Take a moment to scroll through the comments here and observe the tone of each. The anti-McCain/Palin comments rely on visceral hatred and unanswerable accusations of racism toward those inclined to vote for the Republican ticket. They demonstrate a lack of respect for views that a majority of Americans agree with -- pro-life, pro-creationist (or at least Intelligent Design), pro-Christian -- by using them as supposed examples of a candidate's unsuitability.

Interestingly, all of our Presidents were creationists until well after the theory of evolution was invented in the 19th century.

These types of comments represent the worst our electorate has to offer. If you take anything at all away from reading this, please do your part to raise the level of discourse. Terrorists won't have to kill us with airplanes or bombs as long as we keep killing each other with words.

Go read several news sources (MTV News does not count), ask yourself some critical questions, and only start typing when you have something of value to contribute to the conversation.

Liberals are getting Troubling...

I think LIBs are getting to hate America. If we don't vote for Obama we are RACISTS!! I guess we should vote for Obama since we don't want to be labled as RACISTS -- even if Obama would take AMERICA down the road to SOCIALISM.

Excuse me, Libs, I'll vote for a black, if the guy has the same values as I do -- less taxes (the top 5% of the income earners, pays 90% of the taxes.), school vouchers, securing the borders and LESS GOVERNMENT. Obama is not what I want in a PRESIDENT -- he is a MARXIST and he has friends who are America haters.

Obama couldn't manage a lemonade stand if he was in the desert in mid summer.

National Popular Vote bill

To make every vote in every state politically relevant and equal in presidential elections, support the National Popular Vote bill.

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states (and DC). The bill would take effect only when enacted by states possessing a majority of the electoral votes (270 of 538). When the bill comes into effect, all the electoral votes from those states would be awarded to the presidential candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states (and DC).

The National Popular Vote bill has been approved by 21 legislative chambers (one house in CO, AR, ME, NC, and WA, and two houses in MD, IL, HI, CA, MA, NJ, RI, and VT). It has been enacted into law in Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, and Maryland. These states have 50 (19%) of the 270 electoral votes needed to bring this legislation into effect.

Possibly charged rape kits to victims, does not believe in evolution, religion is questionable, encourages shooting bears and wolves from lowing flying planes, troopergate, no abortions for rape or incest, supported the bridge to no where before she opposed it. Has a pregnant teenager, her only experiences with Foreign Relations is the fact she can see Russia from AL, Questioned a librarian about book banning and later the librarian was fired. Does not believe in Global Warming, and left her city in debt as Mayor.

Has not submitted her tax returns yet.

If you think she is a good candidate you deserve what you get.

Obama Paid Push Trollers

Why is it that the Obama Paid Push Trollers always get the first post and its as nasty as Obama's Paid You-tube hatchet videos?

Palin of the Great White North

I've been a small business owner in Wisconsin since '93 and a Republican since I could vote in '82. I've never seen Wisconsin Republicans fired up like this before, I've always been active in the party but have normally seen apathy about politics from conservatives in my area. But we are going to turn this blue state red in this election. People up here (not in the big cities) are very real, and truth oriented. If you don't deal with them honestly, you will pay. Also, we believe in the old saying (and country song) "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." And Obama changes his mind quicker than the weather can change in Wisconsin. Republicans WILL take Wisconsin, and I believe Minnesota as well, as the two states are almost identical in the rural areas and these people don't abide by trash talking thier country, and most of them have relatives in the guard or reserves. When you put down our country, you just watch how active we get to oppose you. We also know Chicago people, and know not to turn our backs on them. They all vacation up here, and are usually nice enough, except for their liberal use of bad language, their money does help pay the bills. The conservative base up here is angry at the lefties and sick of the main stream media and ACTIVE for McCain and Palin. Even a lot of normal democrats are pushing for the republicans because Obama is so far to the left and indecisive on every issue. The Bible even makes a statement about someone who is neither hot or cold, look it up! :)

You'd Vote For Obama If You Weren't So Racist Or Stupid

"Great. McCain, an ill-tempered ill-informed beer dealer, gets Palin, a Pentecostal pretender (and profound liar), to run with him, and folks across the frozen north are swooning----so it's said. Surely people in the United States are not this stupid."

Dems are going to have to work on their pitch to attract those not already committed to Obama. Try to get this down to something that would fit on a car bumper.

Alaska is thawing

The longer Troopergate continues, and the more the McCain campaign continues to smear the reputations of well-regarded Alaskans, the faster Alaskans will "warm up" to the idea of Obama as president.

As for barrots, please listen to Palin speak, and you tell me what she thinking.

VP Foreign Relations Meeting in New Yorik this week

I hope your foregin relations speech this week in New York will be different from the one you have been reading for the last 3 weeks. I am pretty sure they have all have seen that show. You might want to show case your experience by telling them you have foreign relations experience because you can see Russia from AL.
