Amir Taheri story denied by Republicans

This story by Amir Taheri in the New York Post has been denied by republican officials who were in attendance at the meeting in question. The Bush administration has said that they do not believe the story either.

ABC News has the story, by Jack Tapper and can be read on his site Political

Obama and Iraq Delays

On the Obama Iraq delay negotioations,

Seems there were two meetings and two documents and people are using the responses from the Maliki meeting to substantiate reports from the Zebari meeting and

confusing the two documents that were being negotiated.

CBS is actually using the title "Obama's Plan To Spend Billions Overseas" changing the flavor of the opinion completely.

Here is the part of the June 16th MSNBC report with Obama's statements about the Zebari meeting.

<<He said he told Zebari that negotiations for a Status of Forces agreement or strategic framework agreement between the two countries should be done in the open and

with Congress's authorization and that it was important that that there be strong bipartisan support for any agreement so that it can be sustained through a future

administration. He argued it would make sense to hold off on such negotiations until the next administration.

"My concern is that the Bush administration--in a weakened state politically--ends up trying to rush an agreement that in some ways might be binding to the next

administration, whether it was my administration or Sen. McCain's administration," Obama said. "The foreign minister agreed that the next administration should not

be bound by an agreement that's currently made." >>

It seems that he knew the difference between the two agreements and wanted BOTH to be held off until after the election supporting the NY Post claim and not Obama's.

I have included the links to the MSNBC as well as the Sept 19th and Sept 17 NY Post as well as Obama's response.

DEMOCRATS WOULD BE LUCKY TO WIPE MY ASS

All Obama does is talk talk talk and shows absolute no action. As for McCain he has actually fought for our country. The country that allows freedom of speech. The freedom of speech that allows all you Democrats to voice your opinion. Your all a bunch of ungrateful motherf***ers.

Investigate for Yourselves

Obama is continuing to state bold face lies time after time. Quit listening to the media and obama and believe everything they tell you. Investigate for yourself the issues.

1. At least McCain votes. Obama missed 271 votes as a senator and 130 votes as a state senator, If I lived in Illinois, I would be livid.

2. Obama won't even mention that he was in the pockets of the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae executives. McCain better push that issue hard.

3. It is not a lie that Obama has taken 1 million dollars a day in ear marks and pork barrell funds in just under four short years and MCain hasn't taken one dime in his over twenty years.

It goes on and on, but don't worry because the uneducated people of the country will vote him in and hold on for a ride of your life. Don't think that Obama will stop at being president of the US. If people from other countries are listening, he will be after your country next.

Obama is a liar

"My opponent speaks of bipartisanship. But you cannot claim independence from your party when you vote with George W. Bush 90% of the time." - Barack Obama, from a recent editorial written for USA Today.

Questions:

1.) Isn't Obama lying when he says that the President votes in the Senate? (Answer: Yes, but if he only said that McCain "usually votes along party lines" he couldn't use the Democrat's favorite pejorative "Bush"); and, 2.) how can Obama claim to be independent from his party when he votes with his party 96% of the time? (Answer: only by lying about it.)

Iraq

Amir Taheri? Are you kidding me? My God, Michael. Drunk frat boys at Mardi Gras show better judgment than people who listen to that godforsaken fool (and professional liar).

What of the American diplomats and GOP Foreign Relations Committee staffers who attended the meeting and back Obama's version of events? According to them, Obama explicitly told Maliki that America speaks with one foreign policy voice and that that voice is President Bush's. They also said that Obama backed immediate and ongoing SOFA negotiations, and that his one caveat was that the Congress, regardless of who is president (be it Bush, McCain, or himself), should have the right to review any agreement just as the Iraqi parliament would.

You hate Obama. Passionately. I get it. Just stop parroting obvious lies from low-rent neocons with obvious agendas.

Telling the truth about Obama is seen as an attack

But then, if my party was running an empty suit who has never accomplished anything significant in his life, I wouldn't want people telling the truth about him either. If I was interested in an empty suit, I'd go to a clothing store. I wouldn't elect him president.

Right, Paul. They ARE putting America last while spouting crap about "country first". But, that's Republicans for you. Always, always liars.

Sick of the Squandering of America

Some folks must be happy to see the US double its debt in a single day as the country teeters on the verge of financial collapse, and they want to see the same folks who screwed it up back in power. ( I guess some of you old dogs got bailed out today and are feeling feisty.)

Its time someone started to point out the negatives that the GOPs are running the country into the ground and burying the next couple generations in debt.

All the venom from the right wing nuts and swiftboat con men are putting America last, crusading for a fantasy of the free lunch GOP socialism, and obviously are happy to see America slide into 3rd world status. Thanks,
