Here is a great resource about Sarah Palin - the most comprehensive page of information on her record and policies available on the Internet ... including videos of her saying her proposed $30 billion pipeline is the “will of God,” her saying a month ago she doesn’t know what the vice-president does, and her complaining four months ago that Hillary Clinton was whining about “sexist” media coverage -

It has in-depth research, audio clips, videos, and links to hundreds of articles, including many from newspapers and TV stations in Alaska. It has rare footage, including her telling the ‘08 convention of the Alaska Independence Party, whose aim is to give Alaska a vote on seceding from the U.S., to “keep up the good work.”

The level of research is tremendous. The site’s editors and volunteers include an Emmy-award winning CNN reporter, the former operating editor of the Christian Science Monitor’s web site, the former head of NPRs News Blog and the Executive Director of the Online News Association -

Only God Can Judge!!!!

prayer

I think I would ask someone who stated to children "that god came on some of my representitives and told us to drill".

Palin-Gibson

Gibson was amazingly condescending. I'm surprised she put up with it, he's only a TV reporter, she's a governor. The press treat Obama very gently and seldom ask him why he thinks he is qualified. No one could seriously suggest that Obama is more qualified than Palin based on the available facts. His record shows no significant accomplishments other than writing books and running for office. He has ZERO executive experience, that's Zero with a Z, as in none, nada, zilch. So to have Charlie ask Palin that question, in the way he did, and NOT drill Obama the same way exposes his essential bias against either women, Republicans, or both.

Abortion

I'm sick of all the facist Republicans throwing it in the face of every Democrat like we are non-Christians because we are Democratic. This is a smear like everyone of you elitist wealth loving Republicans. Almost every Democrat that I know does not condone Abortion. They condone 'choice', which is to choose good or evil. I think God/Jesus condones a man or woman's choice in this world and you live with the consequences. I think that this is also the American way. Now what I see from Republicans is that they could care less about helping anyone truly in need (especially young single mothers). You Republicans - because you don't help suppport these single mothers - DIRECTLY contribute to their decision to have abortions because the young woman doesn't see any other alternative. So for all those high and mighty Republicans sitting on their thrones of almighty power and corruption- Judge not lest ye be judged...

"Values" voters

"Values", even Christian values, do not begin and end with opposing abortion.

What about torturing prisoners? Christ says specifically that how we treat those who are sick or in prison is how we treat Him. Why does nobody remember that? (Actually, the Pope does but I guess he doesn't count).

What about attacking a nation that has not attacked us? (Iraq, if you're wondering which one I was referring to). This falls below the moral standards of John Wayne in any movie he was ever in, and even farther below what Jesus taught. You know, "Blessed are the peacemakers" and all that.

He also said something about the meek inheriting the Earth, which isn't going to happen on the Republican's watch.

I can see refusing to vote for someone who has had an abortion or has induced someone else to have an abortion. No candidate has done either. But recognizing that the government has no say in the matter is evil? The government can't get pregnant. Men can't get pregnant. Neither one should have any say in the matter.

Finally, somebody made a crack about irresponsible behavior. A woman Sarah Palin's age has a one in thirty chance of having a baby with Down's Syndrome. How is having another child at her age NOT irresponsible behavior? Why didn't she look at those odds and say, "Maybe I have enough children?"

Just asking.

Seriously!?

Don't you have better things to write about? Stay on point, will you? Economy, Health Care, War, Terrorism home and abroad. Hit softballs on your own time. Report on what is important and leave this drivel to your tea time conversations. You are still a reporter, aren't you? Amazing!

Palin focus

It's taking a lot of my time to get some REAL coverage of candidate Governor Sarah Palin. The women on Fox are all behaving like cats sharpening their nails on Palin for a fight with their "lipstick" and hair gel. Who are they kidding??? Low cut tight blouses and skirts up to their waists are making them all look like a little silly as they try to get us to take THEM seriously! Get with the program. Here is a real woman who is not afraid to call right right and wrong wrong - She believes in a God who is very plain on the issues. Wait, do I sense a change just this minute as I watch Fox?? Laura Ingraham got it right this morning as I am typing this, I just heard her say Palin is doing pretty well - and "since when does pro-women mean pro-abortion" Hey, maybe that one comment will be a turning point for Fox news - who in my general opinion puts such a sleazy Hollywood twist on everything they utter for the most part. Come on, look at this woman for what really she is - a great Governor, a loving mother and a woman crazy bout her "First Dude" and a believer in what is right - what's wrong with that picture!? Nothing. She will make a great Vice President and has my vote! Give her a chance, Fox and you will see she is REAL!

Palin's "tough" stance

I wouldn't criticize Gibson as he asked questions that American needs to ask of someone who could be one chicken bone away from the presidency. Hey when you are in that position then you have to be prepared to field all sorts of questions. She needs to have more interviews or do a townhall session where she answers questions from regular citizens. What is the McCain camp trying to hide by keeping her so sheltered?

My impression was that she struggled hard to remember all the briefing info on foreign affairs. She worked hard to project confidence but it didn't seem genuine. She seemed nervous under it all.

Obama and Sermons

Hey Rob of GA, all of the major televison/news agencies already coverd the Reverend Wright thing ad nauseum. How could you have missed that?
