Lieberman

I disagree with your assessment of Lieberman's speech. Yes, we all knew it was coming, and yes, we knew he's been on the stump with McCain for many months. Still, I kept thinking how strange it was that this man only 8 years ago was standing on the stage of the Democratic Convention accepting that party's nomination. Could you ever imagine Jack Kemp, Dan Quayle, the senior Bush, Cheney or Ford doing such a thing? Never.

But in this time, Senator Lieberman, despite the many, many differences he was with GOP policies, stepped out into the bright lights of St. Paul and truly put country first. Simply Amazing.

P.s. You're right about Thompson - brillant! Ironic, though, how two of the three nets didn't cover it because of the riveting Bristol-gate story.

fred thompson speech

electrifying,we need more from him he speaks from the heart. He is everything I look for in addressing our needs.Precise and to the point. We need much more honesty in government coming from N J where corruption is rampant.Where is integrity ,certainly not clinton,mc greevy spitzer, paterson et al

Oh mystery poster who are you?

I find it amusing that the same person comes and posts on every blog entry of Mr. Barone's. They never put a name or where they are from, they are usually one of the first people to post and they always trash McCain/Palin/Republicans. I wonder if they work for the Obama campaign.

live video of fred thompson's RNC speech

I'd like to send the actual speech he gave last night to my liberal friends. Please let me know where it is. All I can find is old FT speeches. This one really made the grade!

election

This election will not be settled by the so called intellectuals of Washington D.C.,and our biased Press. I think that the plain old American voter will remember that old saying when he gets in the booth <NEVER BUY A PIG IN THE POKE>

Fred Thompson's speech

Bravo! Fred Thompson's speech was absolutely outstanding! I wish he had conducted his own campaign the way he spoke last night. Perhaps he might have won some primaries gotten himself at the top of the ticket as I hoped!

Thanks, Senator Thompson. You brought tears to my eyes and made the hairs on my arms stand up! Very, very well done!

Barack Hussein Obama

Barack Hussein Obama, who grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he lived from the age of 2 until 10 years of age (the world's most populous Islamic nation).

Barack Hussein Obama then moved to Hawaii where his childhood mentor was Frank Marshall Davis, an enthusiastic member of the Communist Party.

After that Obama was closely associated for 20 years with his self proclaimed mentor, Jeremiah Wright. Jeremiah Wright married the Obamas, and baptized their children. Obama's book, "The Audacity of Hope", is based on one of Wright's sermons.

Obama is close friends with Tony Rezko, who is under felony prosecution. Another Obama friend and associate is William Ayers, founder of the terrorist group Weatherman, and guilty of being involved in numerous bombings -- none of which he regrets.

THOSE ARE THE FACTS! You may not like the facts, and hate to see them published, but those are the facts! And that is why, for the first time ever, I will be voting for the Republican candidate for President...
