Poor White Trash Comments
I would like to know how calling someone "poor white trash" isn't a racial slur? It is equivalent to calling Obama the "N" word as far as I can see. These kind of comments are sickening.

Wow, the Democrats are really threatened by a strong woman who has a mind of her own. These sexists only support women who toe the line THEY set for them. Sarah is the one I have been waiting for in politics...strong, smart, capable, ambitious, positive, service-oriented, patriotic and can do it all with warmth and femininity. Unlike most of the liberal women who come off like shrews (Pelosi, Clinton, Albright, etc).
what are the real issues
Look at the issues. Palin is a hypocrite because she's all about "family values," but has none that are respectable. But besides all this, I would really like to see the Republicans wake up to the real issues our nation faces instead of playing games and attacking Democrats. One side is speaking about problems and solutions while the other is making us try to believe that they, being corporate patsies, can relate to the rest of us. The economy, treasury, war, environment, overpopulation, and medical care issues are what's really important. The McCain ticket promises more of the failed Bush program, which is a shame for me as a conservative. Real family values means trying to protect the future for our children; a future that Bush and friends have squandered.

If Obama had got his vp pick right-- and gone with clinton this wouldn't have happened. So much for that 'great judgement'. He's not looking so good now when there's a new kid on the block. ;) So--who is trying to get to fix this for him? Hillary! Good grief how many times does she need to stand by her men?
White Trash vice-president
I cannot believe that McCain picked her as his running mate. White trash is an understatement. America has become the laughing stock of the world and now we
are going to be represented by this? A woman with a pregnant teenage daughter whose lovers myspace page was taken down because of the obscene language it contained. We have a sister who has been married 4 times and her husband has been arrested for driving drunk. And the Christian leaders think this piece of garbage is a good representation of Christian values? But maybe America has become a white trash nation. We look up to stars like Brittany Spears as role models. And as far as the comment about class should not be a barrier to the Presidency, this thing does not have any class whatsoever.

I've not seen a more fair approach to the issue of Palin's competency in comparison to other women who have been in public office.

McCain is no more likely to die in the near future from a recurrance of melanoma than Joe Biben is from a recurrance of a brain aneurysm.
His choice of running mate was brilliant.
Sara Palin is like no one other than herself, the epitomy of truely remarkable, sucessful womanhood. She is unshackled by the pitfalls typical of womens' rights groupies, having an innate sense of her own personal worth and capabilities as both a woman and a leader worthy of the Vice Presidency.
She is unique.
I do believe she can stand up well to any old bear and come out the victor.
