Bush's ratings are low due to (partial list) A) the endless occupation of Iraq (note: it is NOT a war. It was an invasion followed by an occupation). B) Your home is most likely worth far less than it was when you bought it if you purchased it any time in the last decade. C) You could be on a "no fly" list, even if you've never had an evil thought in your life. D) Your civil rights as defined by the Constitution of the United State are being eroded. E) We've alienated most of our allies in the world (remember, even Iran sent troops to help us out in Afghanistan!) F) the economy, the signing statements, the "executive privilege" and flaunting of the subpoenas, the caging of voters... Oh- the list just goes on and on. Do some reading.
Bottom line: McCain is an extension of all of those failed policies, he's beholden to the corporate lobbyists that run his campaign, and he's Not On Your Side.

After 8 years of darkness, incompetence, corruption and War profiteering, there are still some Americans who believe all the sewage spewed by political vampires like Barone,Hannity,Limbaugh and Malkin.
Yes,for the first time in their adult lives, millions of Americans are really proud of their country. Not because Obama is running for president, but because we share an indomitable desire that this election, this time will be different.
We refuse to settle for a meager,babbling Texas Governor, we refuse to settle for a vice president writing our energy policy to benefit his bank account. Sorry but Biden and Obama are going to be to tired trying to defend Biden to have time for him to defend Obama. The Republicans are dancing with glee at the prospect of getting to attack Biden. Anyone who has spent over 30 years in the Senate has a long record full of hard-to-defend votes such as Biden's vote to not go to War in Desert Storm and a vote to go to war in the much harder to justify recent war with Iraq. And then his abandonment of the troops after he voted to send them into war. This man is as vacant as our family lap dog. So maybe that will be what he becomes known as - a lap dog, not an attack dog.
