Why Won't the Mainstream Media Question the Obama Narrative?

Obama's anti American friends

The left is already freaking out for asking these questions though they've beaten to death Bush's associations with those eeeeeeeevil oil companies.

The question still remains. Why is Obama spending ANY time with people who hate America, let alone citing them as mentors in his own book?

Embracing a terrorist

David of TN,

Nice try, but the kind of people who come here are neither ignorant nor clueless enough to fall for your game.

William Ayers was a terrorist, and is still a supporter of terrorism. Senator Obama finds this current support of terrorism "unremarkable". For Senator Obama, William Ayers isn't a supporter of terrorism to be avoided at all costs, he's just a neighbor.

Imagine you had a guy living on your street, a man you had been a member of the KKK, a man you had participated in cross burnings, and man you'd been quoted in a newspaper article as saying "he didn't regret what he did, in fact he felt he hadn't done enough [to keep that blacks down]".

Would he be a "neighbor who'd done some bad things when you were 7 years old"? Or would he be that KKK thug who lived down the street from you, that no decent person ever associated with?

The bias is counter-effective

What seems pretty clear is that the media's bias towards democrats has generally hurt, not helped the candidates. The Media must assume by covering up or ignoring the weak traits of many of these fatally flawed candidates, they are helping. Likewise, they assume by pounding negatives on the republicans, they weaken them.

I suspect it is the opposite. Republican presidential candidates are well roasted by the time the fall season runs. Their dirty laundry has been aired, and the public can measure what is said about them, vs their speech and actions during the campaign. All Bush needed was to be "not as bad" as portrayed by the media, to get the support of many undecided voters.

The democratic candidates, such as Obama, OTOH, cannot live up to the status awarded them. They fall.

The media would do its favored candidates a favor by blasting them, investigating them, publishing the negative character and background issues. It would harden them, and make them more real when asking for the vote of the American people.

Or at least, filtering out empty suits like Obama from getting the nomination.

Ayer

Obama is under spell of mythomania. He lied about Ayer: just a man in my neighborhood, never talk with him. But actually he works closely with the bomber. Electronic papers show Ayer steeping on the US flag. Of course, the US permits the flag burning. But to me, it hurts the national feeling though legal. Let's talk about the oppposite side. Under communist regime, people gets jailed if wrapping merchandises with news paper printing picture of state leaders, Lenine, Staline etc... Middle way is wisdom. Sooner or later the flag matter will be reexamined, but not if Obama...

birds of a feather.....

That's what association means. It creates questions and presumptions. Yes, rebuttable presumptions, but presumptions none the less. Why do you think parolees aren't allowed to associate with people with criminal records? Or do you think that's OK too? Why Oh why does logic fly out the door when ObamaFolk touch a keyboard?

chinks in da armour

Maybe a little ditty by L.L. CoolJ or Puff Daddy could renergize the base.(no pun intended) On Nov. 4 the adults will have there turn. The MTV & BET crowd in concert with the sycophant's at MSNBC CNN New York Times are going to have a major reality check. Buy stock in Eli Lilly the makers of Prozac, the Obombakins will be jumping off buildings. The Armani suit that Barry Hussein is wearing is looking more like a circus tent. The Unrepentant Terrorist Weather Underground leader William Ayers connection to B. Hussein is finally seeing the light of day. Which Vietnam era traitor smells worse Ayers or the hauteur John French Kerry. With friends like the Reverends Wright Phleger and Farrakhan who needs enemies. Please please please pick the plagiarist ole bad hair plugs himself Mighty Joe (mr.arrogant) Biden as your V.P..

David

McCains first wife did not have cancer. Check your facts.

Obama's Narrative Ignored

It will be ignored by the Main Stream Media because it is believed by the MSM. 92% are registered Democrats and they want their Messiah.

They want to believe that America is evil and corrupt. They want to believe that China is a better country than the US. They want to believe that Russia's invasion of Georgia is our fault.

They are confused by Barack saying that the US sucks while also saying that the US is the greatest country in the world and that is why he has to change it.

http://www.letsgetthisright.com

Ayers and his wife Bernadette are the lowest of the low- and the Obama's are friends of this lowest of the low- as they are friends with Rev. Wright and Rezko- Barack and Michelle are climbing to the top without any of the right equipment- they will not and should not make it.

They are racist and angry and totally phony lovers of America. Inflate your tires- a weird answer to the gas problem- it's their answer because thats what they do- the inflate- their egos- their intelligence-their patriotism- their good works- they are inflaters- they blow air into everything- one little pin prick and they should disappear. Coming from Chicago Politics it is totally without reason that they are qualified to run anything- even a deli! Phew where do they come from? Yuk!!

Proved the point of the article

wow David you just proved one of the basic premises of the article. People and the mainstream media will refuse to question the obama narrative and now you deflect that simply by questioning mccain's. Of course its easy to question mccain's seeing as how he has been a public figure for so long and has a lot of experience in this political system. You fail to realize that the public already knows about mccain but suspiciously we know nothing about obama because he is only a junior senator who has spent nearly all of his time in the senate in the campaign trail. So tell me why we shouldn't question the obama narrative?
