Based on all the rhetoric about this association, or that association, I would have to believe even though defense contractors spend thousands of dollars checking employee backgrounds for security clearances, presidential candidates must be immune from such investigation.

I find that hard to believe when we are electing a man who will have his finger on the button.

Maybe it's the process that's faulty? And if that is the case, just think of all the elected officials in office now, not to mention all the ones in the past.

I seriously think John McCain, who knows better, was somewhat embarrassed by the rhetoric put forth. Probably why Ms.Palin was the one to do most of the harping.

As for the other media and broadcast blowhards, their words were like manna falling from the sky for the uninformed skeptics and paranoids.

Peter Paige, Brinks security guard, killed October 20, 1981

Sergeant Edward O’Grady and Officer Waverly Brown were shot and killed by heavily armed members of a domestic terrorist group, the Weather Underground, who had just robbed a bank and were attempting to escape. The suspects had just murdered an armored car guard and wounded two other guards before loading themselves into the back of a rental truck to be driven away by accomplices. The truck was stopped at a roadblock manned by several Nyack officers.

One of the female occupants in the cab of the truck told the officers their guns were making her nervous. Thinking they had stopped the wrong truck, the officers began to holster their weapons. Almost immediately afterwards several of the heavily armed men exited the back of the truck and opened fire with automatic weapons, fatally wounding Officer Brown and Sergeant O’Grady. The suspects fled the scene in different directions but were all eventually apprehended and sentenced to lengthy prison terms. One of the suspects was paroled in August 2003.

A suspect convicted of killing Police Officer John G. Scarangella of the New York City Police Department, was a prime suspect in the murders of Sergeant O’Grady and Officer Brown. When he was arrested for the murder of Officer Scarangella, he was in possession of a gun linked to the murders of Sergeant O’Grady and Officer Brown. That suspect was never charged in these murders.

Sergeant O’Grady was a Vietnam War veteran. He was survived by his wife and three children.

The Weather Underground was also connected to the Black Liberation Army, which was responsible for the murders of at least one dozen other police officers throughout the country. The Weather Underground is believed responsible for the unsolved bombing murder of San Francisco, California, Police Department Sergeant Brian McDonnell on February 16, 1970.

y ayers/obama connection matters

less than 10 yrs after 9/11, we have elected the son of a muslim to the nation's highest office. his kenyan aunt was illegally in u.s. in columbia university obama said he carefully chose marxist friends and other fringe radicals like muslim extremist edward said. barack got into harvard w/o the grades & w/ the support of muslim extremist khalidi

bill ayers and obama's working relationship goes back to '87, at least. ayers was the timothy mcveigh of the sixties. ayers gave obama his start in chicago politics, in khalidi's living room. 20 yrs he sat in jeremiah wright's church and claims he never heard angry black racist rhetoric... who benefited from acorn voter fraud? obama went back on his word regarding campaign contributions. obama is supported by chavez (who told tehran university we need to end the u.s. regime) and iran's president (whose stated purpose is to wipe israel from the face of the earth). now obama has placed chicago cronies in positions of clear leadership in the white house.

we have a democratic congress, a liberal media, a democratic president,

and will soon have a far-left supreme court during obama's reign

what have we done? it's wonderful we have gotten past color and put a black man in the white house. but did we put the RIGHT black man there?

Obama

Not only is he guilty by association but he endorses the unremoseful terrorist. If that is who you want to run our country, then we are in more trouble than I thought.

Terrorism is at our front door and naive people like you are letting them in.

ayers

ayers is a scary person and it is frieghtening that no one wants to look deeper into his relationship with obama. people would probably overlook it anyway just like all of aobamas other problems

ayers

he is a terrible person and nobady seems to care to look deeper into his relationship with obama. i t is scary
