Hillary...

Just when I thought we were done with the Clintons...

I know most feminists want Hillary on the ticket simply because she's a women. They'll be able to say later, "Gee-whiz, we have a woman VP."

I can't even imagine the harm she and her husband would cause though; what with their non-stop machinations and intrigues.

What if men voted sex? Would Jeffrey Darma, Charles Manson, or Homer Simpson qualify?

Apparently they would because qualifications become secondary.

I hope we all grow up soon. America needs solid leadership right now.

Clintons

the Clintons will vote for MC CAIN & hope he serves only ONE TERM..then she will have a 2nd chance....

Re the Vice Presidential Nomination

The reputations of the Clintons are solid and substantial and if Obama thinks that Hillary is not good enough for his vice president, then my view is that he is not good enough for my vote or my support period.....and right now he does not have my help no matter how often he asks for my donations which is very frequently my view is that unless he learns how to "Face the Music" he will not dance..... Steve..

Tiffany - yes she did.

Senator Clinton won more overall votes as well as more votes from registered Democrats.

The nomination was handed to Obama by the superdelegates - and they can change their minds at any time, including at the convention.

needed change

we can't elect the same old idealogy and continue to embrace the same mindset, and then expect our great country to soar where eagles fly. The old mindset are about themselves and as usual continue to be slaves to there ego.

Get your facts right, please

Hillary did NOT get more popular votes than Obama. 1, the caucus states (which Obama won) do not have individual votes counted. 2, Hillary's supporters (of which you apparently are) perpetuate this lie by adding votes from Michigan and Florida. I don't understand why Clinton supporters bring Michigan and Florida up, as all that happens is that people are reminded that Hillary Clinton is a liar and a person that will break her word if it means she gets something out of it - not exactly what many of us are looking for in our President.

Our Poor Country

If McCain wins the Presidency I'm moving to India....

The Obama campaign is extremely well-managed and well-disciplined from the top down, thanks to the considerable leadership and administrative skills of Mr. Obama himself.

The convention will be closely and well-orchestrated to present a show of unity in the Democratic Party in preparation for victory in November.

As for the statement that Clinton won more popular votes and more delegates, it should have been qualified: Clinton won more popular votes if you discount the caucuses and include vote totals for Florida and Michigan (where Obama was not even on the ballot) and she won slightly more elected delegates from primary states (excluding again the caucus states and delegates chosen by the Party and at-large). This sentence betrays the author's bias--everyone knew the rules going into the primary season. The Obama campaign played by the rules with a winning strategy. The Clinton campaign had a flawed strategy, and when failure was imminent and then inevitable, tried to change the rules, discount the rules, and complain about the system that put Bill Clinton as the Democratic nominne...twice.

Clinton

Tiffany says "Hillary did not win more popular votes than Obama."

She does if you count Florida.

Hillary did not win the popular vote

With due respect, I beg to disagree with your idea that Hillary won the popular vote.It is always a good idea to get the things right! You gotta respect your audince!

Cheers,
