The Youth Vote

Wasn't the youth vote supposed to put John Kerry over the top in 2000 also. Remember the media telling us that the polls did not account for all of these hip, young people.

Kentucky, west virginia, arkansa and texas

I think that obama - even if he never would admit it - already have given up kentucky and west virginia. In the primaries he not even went to Kentucky. For west virginia obama took during the primaries one single day off. Arkansa is clintons country which Barack only would try to take if it would go easily. Texas is such a difficult and money consuming state to win that Barack only will attack it if he will have a huge amount of money and manpower left.

Young white males don't favor Obama

Only young African Americans and young Hispanics.

It's unfortunate that predicting the results of an election is as simple as counting the census numbers. But with Affirmative Action, and with 90% of African Americans and 80% of Hispanics voting for the same party, that's what it amounts to.

Maybe one day politics in America won't simply be about screwing a white minority. But I doubt it.

Blacks = High Crime Rate?

"which also explains why North Dakota's black men have very low rates of crime; I suspect most of its blacks are in the Air Force"

Wow, I would hate to user the R word here.. but clearly your opinion says it all.

Maybe....

over 64s?

{^_-}

Younger Voters

Didn't Hillary carry the under-30 voters in Kentucky and West Virginia, albeit by narrow margins? I suspect that the under-30 vote may be more volatile in the more conservative states.

North Dakota FYI

You write "Registering young voters [in North Dakota] could pay off for the Democrat." North Dakota does not have voter registration.
