...who controls the present controls the past."

Obama: If ignorance is bliss, he must be in Heaven

If Obama was POTUS on Dec 7, 1941 he would have tried to talk to the Japanese and find out what we did wrong to make them so angry with us.

Liberal pacifist appeasers were wrong then and they're wrong now.

You can't feed a crocodile hoping he'll eat you last.

I hope you can afford the huge increase in taxes Obama and the Dems in Congress have in store for you.

I hope you'll have a few dollars left to buy gas for your pickup and bullets for your guns.

Two Dawgs typical

Conservatives can only make a good argument if they define what the other party or person is thinking. Two Dawgs had to say that Ron doesn't pay taxes, and does not own a gun. Ron must not be what he says he is because, well Two Daugs said so. If you can just make up the facts you'll always have something to say.

Two Dawgs also doesn't realize that it is not a tax cut that Ron can't afford, it's a loan from China that is called a tax cut.

Nice try, Ron from Pitt

You'll deserve what you get (if Soros Dems succeed at taking over everything, including the Presidency and Supreme Court). Unfortunately, the rest of us will also get punished by your cluelessness.

DVD of PA

You didn't get the NEW YORKER cover either?

I forgive you.

Iraq was unnecessary, more importantly, China is happy to bankroll a few more years. Wait till they call that note due :-)

Of course oil has something to do with it

"So we were correct and the War in Iraq WAS/IS about oil and oil interest. And you Sr are obviously republican."

...but not the way you imply. One of the reasons the entire region is of strategic interest to the rest of the world is that much of the currently exploitable oil reserves are there. However, the 'no blood for oil' crowd of which you appear to be a card carrying member was dead wrong. We didn't take oil, we are squandering our own wealth to rebuild them. The invasion was about taking out the military nexus of the Middle East and deposing a violent dictator.

Keep on spouting your drivel though. It just makes you look all the less informed.

Mr. Obama: a case of missing identity

While Mr. Obabma attempts a remedial course in foreign relations within a campaign of European public relations, the American people know better than to buy this steaming heap of propaganda.

We remember JFK.

We remember RFK

And we remember Dr. King.

Mr. Obama, sir? You are not one of them. Not even close.

Who do you take us for, anyway?

So stop trying to ride their coat tails every which way with your feigned "statesmanship," rolled, white shirtsleeves, retro-stylized PR, and weekly reinventions.

Run a campaign on substance, not subliminals.

In fact...

Try developing a legacy, instead, of your OWN.

What a concept.

Ron, Do You Really Pay Any Taxes?

So you can't afford the Republican tax cut? The probable answer to this is you don't pay any taxes. I never met anyone who got a tax cut who couldn't afford it.

As for the rest of your rant, if you really do own an gun, which I doubt from the rest of the post, maybe you need to look at Obama's position with a little more thought than Pis*&^%. There is a possibility he's a tiny bit less pro gun than you seem to think.

By the way, why not switch your posting expertise to Daily Kos, you would be so much happier there, and so would we.

afactual

"So we were correct and the War in Iraq WAS/IS about oil and oil interest. And you Sr are obviously republican"

Hmmm... so you think the US shouldn't be worried about global oil supply security? Maybe the French, Swiss, Germans, Japanese, Chinese shouldn't either. Well they were worried enough to help Saddam break sanctions and buy his oil in the 90's.

Maybe this isn't a robust enough argument in support of Bush's decision to start the war, but be careful how far you go in criticizing him because there's plenty of other "civilised developed" nations playing mean and nasty to secure their oil supplies.

I am not of any particular political persuasion but I have faith in the market system, it's the only one that makes sense..... do not let lunatics control a VITAL resource for which the rest of us are quite happy to pay the going rate. If it looks like anyone is going to screw with that global dynamic, somebody has to stand up and hit them over the head. I think Bush's execution of the war sucks but somebody had to do something.
