Father Day Reflection on Election Campaign 2008 :
Father Day Reflection on Election Campaign 2008 :
Election 2008 is not a election but a decision for homecoming. Americans are on the crossroad of homecoming or a journey to the abyss. They are currently facing Great Depression II and the only conscious solution is to repeat what they had done in the last Depression and emerged as a much stronger country. In the 1930s Americans were smart enough not to elect a politician as president but to return home to their parents, FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt, who had nurtured them back to health and wealth. Today, we are facing the same dilemma, should Americans elect a radical politician who has given them empty promises? Or, to return home to their parents, John and Hillary? The choice is really quite simple. Obama and Black supporters reminisced wrestlers whose matches are pre-arranged and play by hitting under the belt theatrics causing economic downturn just to win. So, stop watching American games. Obama's white supporters are insulting their own race as incompetent and incapable of managing their own country . Whether Obama will be elected his "super delegates", who endorsed at other's expense, must be sentenced to live in Black neighborhoods for more than four years to find out what they are really like. The democratic governor of Oklahoma who had just endorsed Obama must be executed for causing their supernatural tornadoes. The communication media of the U. S. are circus clowns not worth commenting on because they have never given any honest election comments. American voters in general are "blind" to good judgement. Hillary Clinton, best American candidate in history, can be identified with a unspoiling mother who has wasted her own $10 million just to warn her stubborn and ignorance daughter not to date strangers in the street. John McCain who has shown the ability to set aside party differences for the common good, working relentless for the American by running on many elections and his decency has earned the trust of most Americans. Together as a team John and Hillary will carry Americans out of the current Great Depression. But will a good father send his children to early grave for a war that cannot be won? Obviously, our parents are much older and less handsome than us but they have the experience we rely on and care we need. Happy Father Day!
Third party
Yes, I believe McCain might win, just the way Ralph Nader took votes from the Democrats more in 2000 than in 2004 and helped Bush win.
The third party could take it this time. IF all the women (and others) band together against the sexism of Obama and of his race card playing/baiting surrogates which started in South Carolina to jumpstart his campaign. Obama thinks he could do what he wanted in the primary, and make up for it in the general. It doesn't work that way. I will skip that vote or even possibly vote for McCain if not given a viable alternative rather than vote for Obama. People just didn't pay attention. By bashing Hillary as a woman, he bashed us all. By calling Bill Clinton a racist, which everyone knows President Clinton is not, he called us all racist.
McCain
I will vote for McCain. I am not turned half as much by Bush as I am by the Democrats. I resent their using the GI bill to try and buy votes. I resent their promising to cut gas and oil prices and then trying to put through a bill that will raise energy prices. I resent their promising to end earmarks and then porking up the farm bill. Most of all I resent them rooting for the enemy. I used to be a Democrat. But no more.
Barone's Observations
I don't think Mr Barone would have the same, supposedly objective, observations had his favorite (Clinton) won the Democratic nomination. He's drinking kool-aide made from sour grapes. You can take any set of selected data and infer wisdom, which is not necessarily valid prediction. I notice that he cowardly avoids prediction, just postulates some information without real contextual support - typical of his usual tactics. This article is nothing more than a protracted sound-bite.
Hillary Hillary Hillary
Win or lose, black or white, Obama no obama. This Lady is a classy dame. She ought to be president. Period.
Getting the word out
I'm going to tell u what i tell every body else,I am a great inventer to me and about 5 other people I don't know. The vilolence "doom and gloom" of the world that i've seen on the news every problem of the U.S.A i have been inventing new techs for the world. I am trying to contact mr. Ray Kurzweil to let him know that I have over 700 creations that i want to gine to the world for the better good so if u know mr. Kurzweil tell him to contact me so I can make it possible.
Interesting
These dems are a trip. The media and the dem big shots have been saying for weeks that Obama is going to be the nominee BUT the people keep voting for Hillary. Do any of you think that the dems will roundly support Obama in the fall?? Especially the disgruntled Hillary maniacs! Not a chance. Plus, Obama isn't going to be able to solidify the Hispanic vote.
McCain wins and it won't be that close.
RE: Sen. McCain is a Wash
This is a man who admitted that he had no clue about the economy (which is less dangerous than a smug Harvard trained LAWYER who only thinks he understands economic issues)
who has supported (solutions) to the War in Iraq (instead of apologize and surrender (all the way) like Obamamites),
has embraced (rather than repudiated) the increasingly corrupt politicians of the Republican party, whom? when?
who graduated at the bottom of his class in the military academy, (Jimmy Carter did better at th USNA, but that didn't seem to help him in the White House!)
and whose major accomplishment after returning from Vietnam (AS IF, that was an easy task for John McCain) prior to becoming a senator was marrying a beer heiress. (I won't even go there)
Give me a break. The only way he will win is to exploit the fear, ignorance and bigotry about Sen. Obama from as many American voters dumb enough to fall for it. He certainly won't win on his own merits
Sen. Obama is smart, I'll give him that. But it seems to me that the arrogance of his supporters are what are going to alienate independents like me and cost the Democrats the election this year.
If I hear "tax breaks for the rich" one more time I'm going to shoot someone. I got one, did you? Are you rich? Me either. He gave them to everyone...and there are a lot more poor and middle class than there are rich people in this country.
Next thing, I wish I still had it, but there is a quote from BO that says he couldn't really say he would have voted against the Iraq invasion because he didn't see the evidence presented to the President, and then to Congress. I wondered how he would answer that and the quote is really out there.
Last, is there ANYONE that BO is friends, business associates, etc...with that is NOT what all of the ones named in misc. posts on here today? If there is, I'd like to meet them. I fear though, that he hangs with only that crowd.
Actually the last thing, I would no more vote for a Klan member than I would someone who attended a church like that for so long. They are one in the same, just different sides. The election was the Dems to win or lose, and I think they will lose. "Anyone but Bush!" in '04...well, almost, but the Dems picked Kerry. You reap what you sow.
Have a nice day.
Our Elections are Not Working
I completely understand why Michigan and Florida wanted to make their elections early. Here is one theory: Michigan is the hardest state hit hard by the economy. More and more people are becoming unemployed in Michigan than anywhere across the country. Should they have voted early? Of course, if the leaders want to know problems, ask Michigan! Florida wanted to vote early because its simple: Florida represents hubs of diversity. There are equally parts of White, Black, Asians, Hispanics, Jewish etc. residing in Florida. And since America is made up of diverse backrounds why not Florida? Should have they voted early of course! I don't understand why Iowa and New Hampshire had to be the first two. I believe if they wanted the first two to vote, either pick Michigan and Florida or California and New York. California should have been the first because California is the hub of financial prosperity in the US (other states, don't get mad; its true). Half of the food on our tables come from California. Practically, the center of California is agriculture, stretching from Northern California to Southern California. And California are a major export of agriculture to other nations as well. So the DNC should have put California and New York or Michigan and Florida first since those are better decisions for our country.
And like many other Hillary Clinton supporters, I dont think I can vote for Obama. I simply don't think he is ready. And truly we can not afford to have a learn as you go candidate. John McCain is ready to lead. He has vast experience, and unlike Obama he does have proof that he works beyond party lines. Mr. Obama says many things but they are empty. And if it was Hillary vs. McCain, Hillary would have won the general election. Obama is lacking in substance even though is rhetoric are perfection, but can we really put it into reality? I don't think so. Obama has been flipflopping on war issues, foreign policy etc. I dont think his campaign managers and advisors will get away with their rhetoric in the general election. They has surf this far and all 'sufers' know that eventually the wave will plummet down and end the ride. Also, I believe Hillary should take this to the convetion for the sake of her voters. Its true she does have the popular vote. Check realclearpolitics.com It will show you. And if she does, even with a month of campaigning, Hillary will win the general. She is good, and yes seniors always surpass the youth vote because seniors never fail to vote--even if they have to vote for McCain (Hillary supporters) they will. Hillary Clinton supporters are tough, four more years is nothing.
