Joe,These questions appear to be not dissimilar from your line on your Legacy incident. ,

We have heard that a half million children have died. ,

Clinton under snipers/Obama our president

Maybe clinton was dreaming of these days when she talked about bosnia. she is really running under fire and she couldnot stand truly.

Barack is the true next president of The US where he talks and teachs and listens to give the best of every thng to the united states and the world.

may god bless you, your familiy and the people of America !!!!!!!

Popular vote is irrelevant

If the popular vote mattered, Gore would have been our President the past 8 years instead of Bush since he pulled more votes in 2000. But we use the electoral system in the U.S., which is why the overall popular vote will always be secondary.

10%? 'Fraid not. Do the Math

Clinton won by 9.287%. I guess reporters don't know how to use calculators. Just another example of lowering the bar for Hillary.

obama not the longshot

Because of Pennslyvania and other key states like Texas and California Democrats may say that Hillary is the best candidate for the job. However Hillary's negative polls are sky high. Polls of Citizens have shown that people are a little mistrustful of her for example the whole Bosnia comment in her book. To be honest hillary is an old school polotician smart and brilliant and knows the political

system. Barrack Obama is a fresh face relativly unscarred by polotics. Obama has the power to convince people that he is more popular electible and will not bash the Republicans which Hillary would (Probably swaying people to the Republican camp) I agree that the two should run as a team. But not as Hillary, Obama but Obama, Hillary. If he ran as V.P. It would be like Gore's Vice presidency when Bill listened more to his wife than his V.P. Obama would have less influence in her presidency and Bill would have more. If Obam was president they would get the minority vote such as blacks and white people including women (Which Obam can not get) would vote for the two due to Hillary. They would defeat Mcaine and shut the Republicans out for possibly two terms or more. They would unite the Democrats for along time.

Comments such as those by John Sheffield NC and other over-the-top screeds such as those that call Clinton supporters idiots, stupid, racists etc.

undermine Obama's chances and those of a strong united Democratic Party in the fall. I certainly hope most of these ugly comments are coming from Republican trolls rather than from true Obama supporters, most of whom say they like him because he is above the fray and doesn't engage in "dirty politics."

In regard to the polls, pre-electon polls can vary all over the map.

Political campaigns always interpret the situation in the best light for their own candidate and the worst for their opponent. It is a matter of interpretation. Is the glass half full or half empty? There is no lie there. Same for the rounding up or down of the primary results, a pretty petty point for people to be so utterly outraged about. If you have been around for any other elections you will have noticed that the decimal point numbers often fluctuation even days after the election.

As for nasty smears, look over the anti-Hillary comments on this thread alone. It is too bad that supporters of a good man like Barack stoop so low as to

incite hate and loathing against his opponent, calling his supporters stupid idiots, racists and liars. No wonder some HRC supporters are fed up with it and

are thinking of defecting if BHO wins the nomination. As for me, I choose Clinton first, Obama second, and McCain never.

So who is the divider and who is the uniter?

We need a uniter, not a divider. We’ve had a major divider in the top seat for almost 8 years and it’s been disastrous. What’s obvious to me and a lot of other Americans is that a uniter must be a leader who has the mindset and skills to find compromises and bring entities together. A prime example of where uniting leadership was needed was two months ago when re-do attempts were being considered for Michigan and Florida.

The DNC said it agreed to at least one of the offers submitted to allow re-dos. Mrs. Clinton said she agreed with them also, and stated publically that by giving up her current votes, she could very well end up losing with the re-do, but that the democrat voters of the states must be heard and their votes must be counted, no matter what the outcome of the re-do. This action by Mrs. Clinton showed her ability and skills to broker compromise and unite entities, even at potential personal loss to herself.

Mr. Obama’s chose the exact opposite action. He did not chose a compromise which would unite all democrats together. He chose to divide our party right then and there. He came up with all sorts of reasons to not hear and count those democrats. He seemed to be not supporting the democrats, but instead supporting his own vanity and ego. He didn’t want to take a chance on losing. He didn’t want the people’s voices to be heard and their votes to be counted. Unbelievable. That is not the mindset nor the actions of a uniter at all. In fact, it’s the mindset and actions of a divider, and a divider much like the one we’ve had in the top seat for the past 7 years in the Whitehouse.

All the interested entities had brokered a deal. The democratic party agreed to the redo plan. All everyone across the country was waiting on was for Mr. Obama to agree. And he refused to agree. He brought up a lot of he said, she said from a year ago. It was irrelevant to the current situation at hand two months ago. What was he going to do now, now that an agreement had been worked out and all it needed was his signature? Was he going to show leadership, show he is a uniter, show he will put the democrats of two very important states above his own ego? Show he supports our basic democrat value that democrat voices should be heard and their votes counted?

How on God’s green earth can such an individual, who spat on the democrats of Michigan and Florida, and spat on the democrats all across the country by doing so, be chosen to be our party’s nominee? How can such a non-leader, non-uniter, be chosen to be our party’s nominee? How can such an individual had the audacity to continue preaching that he alone is the candidate that can unite our country, find compromises and reach agreement with the Republicans, when he couldn’t even step up to the plate two months ago for the re-do elections?

At least Mrs. Clinton supported the DNC agreed to re-do. She was willing to compromise, take a chance and see how she would fair in that re-do. Mr. Obama put his own ego, his own desires ahead of everything, and spit at all of us. Yes, those of us in other states, when he spat in the faces of our fellow democrats in Michigan and Florida by his actions. It is clear to most of us across the country that Mr. Obama at this point in time doesn’t get it – isn’t ready, if he ever will be ready, to be our democratic leader, be a uniter and be able to do the much needed work with Republicans over the next four years. He couldn’t even work out an agreement within his own political party.

What will bring our party back together is Mrs. Clinton, who showed all of us that she is willing and able to find compromise and broker deals to unite people and obtain objectives. Not just for our political party, but for our country. This long campaign has showed all of us that Mr. Obama is not capable of doing that at this point in history, doesn’t have what it takes, when it counts, to unite and move us forward. We need Mrs. Clinton and her skills at the helm.

Danielle Clark of PA

Danielle,

You are so misguided! Just because you live in one of the 7 counties in PA carried by Obama, does not mean Ed Rendell fixed the elections. Hillary crushed him everywhere else, including here in the wetern part of the state. It had nothing to do with "fixing" and everything to do with "connecting". Please get your facts straight before you speak, you look foolish.

To DON"T LET HILLARY FOOL YOU

If you were stupid enough to take out one of those predatory loans as they call them (and most used them to purchase twice the home they could afford anyway) then you should loose your home. Thats called accountability. Seems like Obama and Clinton are for bailing out these people. Nobody should bail out the banks or the borrower. Let them learn their lesson and the economy will work itself out. Bail everyone out then it will take years to straighten out that mess. It is not the governments place to be accountable for the banks or the people. Clinton and Obama are promoting socialism. I just hope everyone will wake up. I guess the way you win elections anymore though is just promise to give something to everyone.
