Puerto Rico Primary

I was born and raised in PR, and wanted to make 2 points:

Not all hispanics look like Barack, but plenty of Puerto Ricans and Hispanics from the Caribbean do...many have mixed African and European ancestry. You should visit the island sometime Mr. Barone....

To Liahuna: I don't think you can make a direct relationship between statehooders and republicans on one hand and pro-commonwealth and democrats on the other. It's like comparing apples and oranges.Proof of this is that each candidate has a co-chair that is pro-statehood and pro-commonwealth. Most Puerto Ricans don't think politically in terms democrat vs republican.

Finally, Even though I have not lived in PR for 4 yrs, I would venture that to some degree, all bets may be off on this primary, as for the 1st time Puerto Ricans can make a bit of a difference in the primary presidential process compared to the past. I've always been oblivious to the presidential primaries when I lived on the island, but this time around I would have made sure to vote (and I did for the first time this yr)

Simple sense, Obama not McCain.

For anyone that is saying they WON'T vote for Obama, but for McCain if he is the nominee. Ah, you had better wake up, is Obama really a hateful, disgraceful man? A mudslinger or the liar some say? People would rather put John McCain in the White House. Get real.

I support Obama, but will vote for Clinton if she is the nominee, but I would never put someone whose head is on totally backwards in the White House.......it's been done twice recently you know. We don't need that again. If so God help us all!

Please Give me A BREAK , How on Earth you Lots are so Concerned about what a PREACHER say one thing or the other. My pastor had said many things in the past whic i was not happy with, and so I am less concern, moreso i was only in the church because of my own conviction and my believe that I was connected only tto God and not My PASTOR. Probably you Lots who are Blaming Obama only SERVED your pastors as your God.

As such, for you Non believers who only attended churches because of your pastors are No where near the Kingdom of God as you only attend your churches just because of your pastors and adhere to your pastors RANTING or BELIEVE.

You Lots better grow up and only attend your churches not based on your pastors but only on your connection to God and research into what ever your Pastors teaches before you JOIN A BAND WAGON.

Clinton's Viability as the Candiate for Election

It seems that no matter what Mrs. Clinton achieves, the commentators questions are about when will she drop out of the race. She wins Pa. and we hear that she is running a negative campaign. Even GMA had to stress that in her interview.

The press favors Obama with its coverage. When Clinton addrssed the AFL-CiO, all I could find on the news was a quick shot, but I was assaulted with Obama bowling. If he wins he's featured, if he loses he's featured. Time has featured Obama over Clinton at least 2-1 in cover stories. When Obama first said he never heard heis pastor speak as shown in the clips, and then said he did know about it, I didn't hear any indignation over lying. When Clinton exaggerated her trip to a war zone, the coverage went on for days. It feels like the press is in love with Obama. This is the impression I have.

Hilary is in it for Hilary

Face it, Hilary wants to win for herself not for the democratic party and not for the American people. She has proven herself time and time again to be a negative spin master full of hypocrisy. I used to support her and am now ashamed that this type of individual is even still in the race. Obama has proven himself to be an even-keeled person as opposed to the maniacal bent Clinton displays and her stupid husband who has fallen in the eyes of the public with his continual whining and negativity. No more Clintons! No more Bush! It's time for someone who tells the truth and will help build back our image as a nation. The world hates us now, but wait to see how much they'll hate us if McCain gets in office. And he will if people continue voting for Clinton becasue she will not win against him. Obama will obliterate McCain. WAKE UP.

To "Walter of FL"

To the brilliant mind that so eloquently wrote the fallowing:

"You Seem that YOU don't get it!!!!!!!!

Popular Vote is not the rule for selecting the Democratis nominee!!!!!

Former VP Al Gore won the popular Vote in 2000.

I DIDN'T see him in the white house!!!!! He lost the eslection.

Do You get now, or still"

You are the epitome of what is wrong in this country. You are blindly ignorant to the plight of a nation in dangerous need of reform. You have astounded me with your idiocy, and I only pray that God gave you more than your "exuberant wit" to get you through this life. I fear that otherwise you will be left to rot and wallow in your self depraved notions of your ability to be "articulately persuasive" through your mind-blowing communication "skills". (Do pardon me for my brazen use of the word "skill" here.)

That being said, I must also add that it weighs heavy on my mind how a person can think it is just for a candidate to win the popular vote and not win a presidency. Yes, you are correct, it is not the "rule" (lolz to your use of the word "rule" in this situation) that the popular vote wins. However, it does tell us what the PEOPLE of this country want, and not an out-dated electoral system. Maybe what we should be focusing on here is a modification of the "rules" and not jumping down people's throats because they do not view the world as you do.

BTW, it might behoove you to take a persuasive writing class or two and maybe people will actually begin to hear what you say as opposed to writing it off as childish retaliation, or do YOU not GET how to write? Oh and it is not “DEMOCRATIS” it is DemocratiC and it is not “ESLECTION” it is ELection. It’s called spellchecking/proof reading, genius.

Do YOU get it NOW Mr. Walter of FL?

Popular Vote doesn't matter! Read the rules

You Seem that YOU don't get it!!!!!!!!

Popular Vote is not the rule for selecting the Democratis nominee!!!!!

Former VP Al Gore won the popular Vote in 2000.

I DIDN'T see him in the white house!!!!! He lost the eslection.

Do You get now, or still

Hillary Clinton is my Joan of Arc!

All the media slighting, insults, name-calling, condemnations, ridicule and even every one of the news anchors and each and every talking head on the TV attacking her; and every major news paper columnist insulting, trashing and ridiculing her, in spite of her own long time colleagues Sen. Kerry and Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Bill Bradley, Gov. Bill Richardson and may others betraying her and turning their backs on her and endorsing and campaigning for opponent─ the new kid on the block Sen. Obama─ in spite of shocking defeats and setbacks she had suffered, she had persevered, she had come back to show her power, and persistence, with more determination; more humbleness and grace. She’s my hero; my shinning knight in armor who fights relentlessly for us humble folk like us, the downtrodden and the disenfranchised, the shift workers, the poor, the immigrants, the ridiculed, the neglected; we the toilers for our hourly-wagers, the elderly and the disabled, she’s our champion! For us she cuts a heroic figure, because she keeps on fighting for us! With her determination and tenacity she had shown she’s more than ready to lead our great land; and with the help of humble folks like us─ not like snobs in the media, I know some of you in the media want to burn her on a stake, but at the end mark my words I know she will triumph over all adversity; I know she’s make history! Hillary Clinton is my Joan of Arc!

I am one half native american indian and one half french canadian. This Obama is tearing this country apart. I am sick of the blacks thinking everyone owes them. get over this . Get a job and get off welfare. It is true what Geraldine Ferraro said , and of course anything any white person says is racist. Imagine if Wright was Hillary's preacher, they would burn her at the stake. Now its becoming so bad white people won't be able to say anything for fear of a backlash.. There is no question in my mind about the Clintons being patriotic, but Obama and clan are more than questionable. If Osama Obama gets the nomination I will not vote, or vote for McCain. at least we won't have the black panthers in the white house.....

Obama as president? Just a minute.

Imagine Obama out spends 3-1 on health care just to get a plan that is almost nearly as good as Hillary. Just to name one. What would happen to America?

BTW, the general election is based on popular vote per state. Winner takes all electoral votes.

Hillary will win in the general election.

Obama not so sure.

I will vote McCain if Obama is the nominee. No pro anti-American for president. That is not the America I know.
