Christmas shopping

Dr. Yarrow, an obviously smart shopper, has hit the nail right on the head. Basically she is saying use some self discipline at Christmas time.

When it comes to finances, self discipline is a hard choice, especially when one wants to buy something he/she knows will please another.

So, my advice is this: Ask your sweetheart if he/she loves you, if the answer is yes, then say," good here's a piece of coal, and remember it's the thought that counts."

One can get a piece of coal cheaply this season.

Excellent Post

So much in time for the need. Great job! It was very educative to understand the effect of changing shopping trends this year.

We have a product discovery and research website (http://reviewgist.com) providing consumers with the gist of expert opinions and normalized with an aim to help consumers make informed shopping decisions quickly yet more confidently. But when we listen to consumers there almost always fall into two major sects - one who do shopping impulsively, the second who research before they shop. I would also like to note that the latter group at the end of it might actually end up in impulsive buying.

It would be great to see more posts focused around consumer behavior and psychology.
