Mary Matalin, Jerome Corsi, and the GOP Political Hit Job Disguised as a Book
Mary Matalin and Jerome Corsi are hardly the picture of credibility and judgment

Another Left-Wing Attack sans Facts
How about taking issue with just one fact from Corsi's book rather than just hammering Corsi himself and his publisher Matalin?
I get it. You don't like Corsi or Matalin. But that has zip to do with whether there is truth in the book.
I don't like Obama. But, apparently unlike you, I actually read Obama's books. We don't really need Corsi to demonstrate why Obama has no business as Presidnet. All we need is to read Obama's books -- his own words and published arrogance condemn him without any help from the right. The Europeans can have him; they deserve him. America deserves better.
The Swift Boat attacks on Kerry were completely justified. The man is a disgrace to his country and has been for decades.
And, no, I am not a McCain supporter. Never have been. Nor am I a Bush fan (the Elder or the Younger). I am a man without a valid candidate who will vote for one of the third-party candidates rather than hold my nose once more and vote for the lesser of evils.
If Obama and McCain are the best the two major parties can come up with, this country is doomed.
Corsi and facts
Corsi is a hired gun, a plain and simple mercenary liar for rent.
If Corsi was so credible, then we would have to believe:
* Group tied to al-Qaida backs McCain for prez

* Influence peddling claims dog McCain

* John McCain funded by Soros since 2001

Facts
I read the book and found it full of documented facts that were new to me and material in that they reflect poorly on Mr Obama and his failure to disclose the truth of his life, even after writing two books about it. Mr Corsi's investigations and interviews are effective in leading the reader to understand the influences on Mr Obama and how he has framed his worldview. The book is effective in communicating to me that Mr Obama has a worldview dramatically different than my own. I also learned that I cannot trust any position he takes, because of his routine practice of adjusting his positions to accomplish his ambitions. His ties and relationships with questionable characters Davis, Ayres, Resko, Wright and Jones are far greater and more damaging than Mr Obama had revealed.
Mr Mashek would do us all a greater service if he would make contentions regarding the facts, instead of shooting at the messengers. There is little use to anybody of such an article. Show me three things that were wrong or unsubstantiated in the book. It all seemed quite credible to me. Mud slinging is not journalism.

Matalin and the Corsi book
Typical GOP slander model.....doesn't surprise me that Matalin is involved.
It is like she and Corsi are announcing to the world that they are shameless, ignorant sycophants for John McCain and the Republican Party.
Phil of AZZ
Hey, I think I have a MORE qualified candidate than Obama (according to your standards) - a cup of dirt.
"Cup of Dirt" senate experience - 0
Wow! Better than Obama!
"Cup of Dirt" military experience - 0
Awww... Obama and the Cup of Dirt are tied on this one.
But, the clear winner is...
Cup of Dirt!!!!!
McCain and Matalin - experience we can do without
McCain should have got 26 years in prison for taking $100,000 bribes from Keating and admittedly filing false tax returns about the bribes from Keating.
26 years of flip-flopping, corruption, cheating and lies.
In the primaries most the Republicans opposed McCain because he has so blatantly sold his votes and lobbying.
That kind of experience we don't need.
We can thank Matalin for bringing it to our attention that the US public doesn't really know much about McCain.

Experience? What does that mean?
Please, will somebody explain to me what kind of experience is important to be President? McCain has been a representative and a Senator and that means he knows what it means to run the country? I don't think so. Bush ran two or three businesses (into the ground) and then ran a largely ceremonial position as governor of Texas and that meant he was ready to be President? Again, wrong. Obama is a lawyer, a professor, a community organizer, a state senator and a US Senator. Sounds about right to me.
Obama
Because the Earth can't handle one more head-in-sand, science-denying, profit-at-all-costs Republican.
