Should President Obama Show More Emotion?

Should the president show more emotion when making tough decisions?

Posted October 27, 2009

Faced with a number of tough, even life or death, decisions this year—from dealing with the downtrodden economy to strategizing in Afghanistan—President Obama has maintained a confident, intellectual, and informed stance. U.S. News reporter Kenneth T. Walsh, who recently sat down for an exclusive interview with the president, says that while many Americans applaud Obama for his thoughtful, deliberate approach, others would like to see a leader with more emotion. What do you think? Is Obama too cool? Watch Ken Walsh's video, take our poll and post your thoughts below.

celebrity or Leader

President Obama would do well to stop appearing on the late night talk shows , seems very tacky

Emotion, Empathy & Compassion refers to "For Whom the Bell Tolls"

Maybe the Bell tolls for thee because it tolls not for me as a senior citizen who is having his Medicare and Social Security Trust Funding Ripped off by the the present administration. I can't figure what group the bell is tolling for especially when we have a gov't that makes policy decisions behind closed doors; maybe that is what "Novus Ordo Seclorum" means on our paper money? Too bad the Supreme Court can't read Latin. Latin being the language of Lawyers not the common man. Lawyers don't want Joe the Plumber or Jack the Butcher or Old Mike the Barber to understand what their government is really up to behind closed doors. The President is showing emotion, he is showing disdain for the common man. Remember, Obama is a millionaire just like the rest of us common men.

This is Important?

We have a President who is attempting to unleash some of the largest changes to the Government that we have seen in our lifetimes and you want to know what we think about his display of emotion? You can do better.
