Should Obama Lobby the International Olympic Committee on Behalf of Chicago?

Posted September 28, 2009

President Obama will lobby the International Olympic Committee later this week on behalf of his adopted hometown, Chicago and its bid for the 2016 games. Is this a good move on his part or is it, as Peter Roff suggests on the Thomas Jefferson Street blog, a waste of presidential time? Vote in our poll and post your thoughts below.

Both of them abusing taxpayers money, ingnorance

Wasting taxpayers money is always the objective of this corrupt politician you voted in as president. It is sick to watch this fool and his partner in crime waste our money on multiple and individual plane rides that we pay for to advance his socialist schemes. If he didn't personally benefit he wouldn't be doing it. ALL of Washington is corruption on our buck. This man is the worst example of a president in our history. It is sad to say he is worse than that dried up old Carter. Please never again vote based on color this is a travesty of the incompetent. Liberals have no right to be in office of any kind, no morals, ignorant, anti Americans and corrupt..

The epitome of corruption and deception: Rangel,Dodd,Pelosi,Obama,Reid,Boxer,Frank and that little man Dean must I say anymore!

Chicago, Rezko, Acorn and Obama go hand in hand and it benefits them not Americans.

Obama

Remember that our President voted 150+ times "PRESENT". He cannot make a decision...he vasilates.

CHICAGO OLYMPICS

Arent' there enough problems to keep the president and his wife busy? Mr. Obama should save the taxpayers some money by staying home and focusing on more critical issues. By doing so, he can be magnanimous by giving other deserving (and perhaps needier) nations the chance to vie for the honor.
