It is truly sad that the next 4 years we will have someone in the White House who doesn't understand the free markets, basic economics, and how to create wealth in a recession through tax cuts!
However, if the "drive-by" "state-run" media would "actually" take the time and READ the initial (emphasis added) that Gov. Romney attempted to implement -- with very liberal (capital "L") democrats controlling the Massachusetts state legislature, they have (what I read lately) truly "bastardized" a possible workable plan drafted by Mitt.
We seem to forget that the "basic" plan proposed by Gov. Romney has been either diluted, altered, and engorged with the invaluable assistance of the democrats. Why you ask?? -- Simple because the libs "can" and "will!" They believe in incrementalism -- something we conservatives forget! Little by little, over time.
However, I digress. The best definition of the current Obama Administration as it relates to socialized medicine and/or an abhorrent single payer system is insanity! Insanity defined -- Doing the same thing over and over again -- believing you're going to get a different result! It didn't work in the "New Deal," "The Great Society." And it will not work now.
Romney MA Healthcare plan far from perfect
I think Mitt Romney understands the economy, is well-spoken, knowledgable, and a common-sense individual in favor of following the Constitution and keeping our individual rights. All those are positives and are reasons I think he would be a good Presidential candidate in 2012.
However, although he set up "a valid healthcare plan for the State of Massachusetts," in case you haven't heard, it is a miserable failure. It is a prime example of what NOT to do when reforming healthcare.
