Is Bush Upset by Cheney's Attacks on Obama?
Last week, George W. Bush delivered a speech in which he defended his administration's harsh interrogation tactics, though he stopped short of criticizing Obama. CNN reports: "'Nothing I am saying is meant to criticize my successor,' Bush said. 'There are plenty of people who have weighed in. Trust me, having seen it firsthand. I didn't like it when a former president criticized me, so therefore I am not going to criticize my successor. I wish him all the best.'" Bush's speech poses a significant contrast to Dick Cheney's recent comments on national security. Is Bush is upset by Cheney's outspokenness against the Obama administration? Should he be?
