Iran is a Threat! Jimmy the Geek

The leader of Iran, Ahmadinejad, has threatened extermination of Israel, every time he speaks. What has Israel ever done to Iran to warrant the all out destruction of the Jewish State. It succeeded in a hostile environment rampant with Muslims "Hell Bent" on destruction. It is economically, scientifically and militarily a force. That is it! Jealousy of course. The Persian Empire should be very careful of who it tangles with. It's mighty army fought for years with Iraq to a "Standstill" The Israeli forces are much more formidable and will fight if cornered, like a "Tasmanian Devil" protecting it's young. Jimmy the Geek, come on, confess your Anti-semitism and be done with it. Israel is such a small slice of land, a dot on a wall. Let them have it..

nuclear

A well written and easy to agree with article. I can see by some of the comments that even this can be turned into anti-Jewish hate mail. Be that as it may, the nuclear threat from Iran seems real, and is gaining credibility by the day. Talk of genocide by fanatical muslim regimes [against the Jews] argues for as strong a defence, both politically and militarily, as possible. The entire middle eastern issue is placing the people of the United States into two opposing camps, and the ones favoring the fanatical muslim regimes are the ones that are exposing Americans to mortal dangers. The muslims are not monolithic, or even united, but they do all agree when it comes to the non-muslim "infidels". This alone should argue for a strong and united defence against allowing them equality in the nuclear field. I have long ago learned that it is best to disregard what muslims say. Much better to understand history, and watch what they do instead. If Israel has nuclear deterence, then good for her. She needs it, and has earned it over and over again. That is where my support goes, as should the support of anyone that has a firm grasp of history, and a sense of right from wrong.

That is a mistranslation.

He never once said he wanted to wipe any country from the map. He quoted someone else that said they wanted to end a regime that they considered bad. The word regime is even in the words he said, it is the same word in nearly every language, so you don't even have to take my word for it. Just look up what he said.

How is Iran a threat?

Iran has attacked no other countries in the past 400+ years. How are they a threat to anybody?
