Is Obama's Silence on Pelosi's Torture Controversy a Power Move?

Posted May 20, 2009

Writes one conservative blogger on the controversy surrounding House Speaker Nancy Pelosi: "Why would the Obama Administration want to see Pelosi twist in the wind? To be sure, bare knuckles politics plays a role. There is no doubt a little of the White House showing Pelosi and Congress who is boss. But there is someone close to the president who may have a personal motive to see Nancy Pelosi laid low: Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel." Is Obama distancing himself from the controversy to show Pelosi who's boss? What's Rahm Emanuel's role in Obama's position on the Pelosi-torture controversy? Post your thoughts.

Get the facts on abortion and expose them as you did waterboarding. YOur colleague Senator arbara B oxer declared she did not care how much a fetus suffers, abortion is a woman's RIGHT> Wow!

Get yourself right before castigating others.

WATERBOARDING & ABORTION

Questions:

What crime(s) did the waterboarded persons commit?

Did those waterboarded suffer any pain?

Has anyone been saved pain or death because of information gleaned from thos waterboarded?

How many of them died?

What crime has an aborted fetus committed?

Does the abortion cause the fetus pain?

How many lives have been spared pain or death by aborting a fetus?

How many of the aborted fetii died?

Can we see graphic pictures and stories of abortion like tose seen about waterboarding? Why not?

Why raise such a condemnaton about one, but not the other?

Can I have answers to these obviouos questions? Are there others who would like some answers?

Pelosi

She knows who the boss is, it's Obama and he gives her all the

authority to write bills affecting us all and then when they are

passed he can put the blame on her if the public doesn't like

them
