Counting Job Cuts in the Financial Sector

A recent report shows banks have made big job cuts since August 2007

  1. Citigroup — 75,000 jobs cut as of Dec. 31
  2. UBS — 11,000 jobs cut as of Dec. 31
  3. Morgan Stanley — 8,680 jobs cut as of Nov. 30
  4. Credit Suisse — 7,320 jobs cut as of Sept. 30
  5. Goldman Sachs — 4,800 jobs cuts as of Nov. 28
