What Do You Think of New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez Admitting to Steroid Use?

Posted February 18, 2009

"I didn't think they were steroids," New York Yankee's Alex Rodriguez said yesterday at a press conference. "That's again part of being young and stupid. It was over the counter. It was pretty simple." Baseball's highest-paid player's words at a press conference yesterday was the latest admission of steroid use after Sports Illustrated reported that he tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in 2003. Reports the AP: "Rodriguez has hit 553 home runs and is expected by many to break Barry Bonds' record of 762." What do you think of A-Rod's admission? Should he be penalized for taking steroids? If so, how? Post your thoughts.
