What Are Sarah Palin's Plans for the Future?

Posted January 29, 2009

Yesterday, our very own Robert Schlesinger discussed SarahPAC, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's new political action committee. Says Schlesinger: PACs are "a fairly common (the Center for Responsive Politics counted 340 of them in the last election cycle) vehicle for pols who want to play on a national stage. Obama had one, as did Hillary Clinton, and all of the leaders of both parties." In addition to her new PAC, reports came out recently that she's shopping around for a book deal. What are Palin's plans for the future? Is she laying the groundwork for a bid for Congress? Or even the presidency? Post your thoughts.

Sarah Palin convinced my Democrat Husband to vote Republican!

And from what I understand, he wasn't the only one! Just ask the residents of King County, Texas - the overwhelmingly democratic population there also voted Republican. I myself am a reformed democrat, thanks to Bill Clinton. Ms. Palin is a breath of fresh air and I hope she continues to suprise us all in the future. I know of at least two votes that are hers, if she wants them!

Palin is no Reagan

Reagan was a great communicator and surrounded himself with bright and knowledgeable people. Palin can barely put together two sentences without sounding like she just learned the English language yesterday. She surrounds herself with idiots and sycophants so that she can always appear to be the smartest person in the room. She's an idiot and arrogant. A very bad combination. I hope the republicans do nominate her in 2012 because there is no way the people will return Bush in a skirt to the White House. Once they experience what is like to have an intelligent leader as President, they won't settle for dim bulb like Palin.

Blue

Sarah Palin is just full of hot air. Funny how even McCain had distanced himself from her. She is an embarassment to Americans, especially to women. She has not been held accountable for her Buffalo Bill type schemes. Maverick... I doubt it! We had mavericks for the past 8 years doing "whatever it takes to get the job done", prooving how damaging that it is. We have checks and balances for good reason and we do NOT need a redneck, gun slinger for a Presdient! Let's face it, the republican party does not even know what to do with itself anymore!
