What Will Happen to the 2009 Economy Under Barack Obama?

Posted January 12, 2009

According to the Harris Poll, 52 percent of Americans think the economy will get worse this year. Today's Hot Docs reports that "55 percent said they expect to cut back on household expenses, 45 percent hope to pay down their debt, and 24 percent plan to get rid of one or more credit cards." What do you think will happen to the economy during 2009? Have you changed your spending habits to weather the recession? And if so, what are you doing to cut costs? Post your thoughts.

Why us?

Why do we the people have to keep giving the government money when it's them doing gigantic projects without having a hypothesis if it will be a succes. We can't keep borrowing money from the government either. In order for us to survive through taxes and stocks we all have to be fair. For some things the government has to let us vote on it , I can't since I'm only 10. Some people can't pay the taxes and they have children. Children need education to grow up and help the world even if it is small. When you higher people make changes at least tell the people whom you are making choices for since we are the people you are ruling over.
