Will Barack Obama Appoint a WMD Czar?
U.S. News's Political Bulletin reports that, "like the current Bush Administration, the transition team of President-elect Obama has doubts" about creating a WMD Czar to oversee programs aimed at preventing biological and nuclear attacks. Doubts, however, linger on the fact that the position would be redundant and too accountable to Congress. Given the recent slew of warning on WMD attacks, is a WMD Czar necessary for the incoming Obama administration? Or was the 9/11 Commission Report wrong to recommend the position? Post your thoughts.

WMD Czar
Ridiculous crap--just too damned ridiculous to contemplate. Let Obama do the job we want him to do and we won't need any WMD Czar.
Don't hold the kid back when he is trying to save the world and bring back sanity! A 'slew' of warnings about WMD attacks? Give me a break!
