Does Barack Obama's Staff Have Too Many Clinton Vets?

Posted November 19, 2008

Hillary Clinton is a frontrunner for secretary of state, and Barack Obama has reportedly picked Eric Holder, who served as deputy attorney general in the Clinton Administration, as attorney general. Other staff posts have been filled with people who have ties to the Clinton Administration. Is Obama's staff too Clinton-heavy? Does it go against Obama's pledge to bring change to Washington? Post your thoughts.

Change? I think not!

People have been complaining about Bush's two terms. What we seem to be getting with Obama's decisions is a Clinton THIRD term. God help us all!

Bannish the Clintonistas from the White House!

The Clintons (aka: the Grifters) and their followers are either power hungry, or oblivious to the true character of those they follow. These people have taken the definition of "entitlement" to a whole new level - the definition of White Trash ascending beyond their merit on superior manipulation skills. Hillary as Secretary of State? Do we really want to become China's western-most province? The Clintons compromised US strategic technology (for Defense as well as commerce) for personal gain. That's about as close to being a Traitor as one can get without being put in prison. Let's not forget about the looting of the White House upon their departure - furnishings that were paid for by taxpayers but to which they were "entitled." I implore Pres.-elect Obama to stear clear of the Clintons and any of their associates and staffers. He won't have to look too far to find suitable candidates that have far better character than these people.

Yes experience helps in politics however not all people remember the Clinton administration fondly. That White House was full of leaks, rumors, and incompetence. President-elect Obama needs to stop picking from that rotten tree, including Senator Clinton. She does not possess the tact or polish to be our Secretary of State. Be true to your campaign President-elect Obama!

What the 2009 Elections Tell Us About 2010

By Tom Davis

Seven lessons the parties need to learn from Tuesday's races.

The 2009 off-year elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York's 23d Congressional District offer a small snapshot of the current views and motivations of the American electorate. While there may be a desire to extrapolate the events of Nov. 3, 2009 into a prediction of what will happen on Nov. 2, 2010, that is impossible.
