GOOD USA

As a parent of 2 active military soldiers, as well as classified in the socity as minority, which I strongly opposed of being catagorized, I could proudly accept Mr Obama as our leader into the next century and give some guidance to our new generation (in which with his two daughters) will know that our youth need attention desparately, an education where it is exciting and challenging enough to want to go to school, not the military service. I see in Mr Obama a person with charater, in his wife a very understanding and caring wife and mother, in his daughters excitment for the future.

GOD Bless America!

GENUINE DEMOCRACY

Barack Obama's victory is a victory of a real, meaningful democracy practice in America. To see african american become president of the United States is a great promotion to AMERICAN'S DEMOCRACY in the world. This is all about how the real democracy practices were designed to work. The whole world should learn something from this good example in the long run. I am proud to be an American citizen and enjoy the freedom. Thank you America.

As a 57 year old black male, this was historic for me in many ways. Most of all I was pround to see my 84 year old father vote for, and see a african american become president of the usa. Thank you America.

Vote total

Where did you get your vote total of 136.6 million votes? That's a lot more than reported elsewhere.

5 Reasons Why....Counter Point

1. True.

2. He is "Roman Catholic" in name only. His position concerning abortion throws this one out.

3. Glad it's high, but not nearly high enough. Our election system is jacked-up. The only reason why there wasn't any issues is that the race wasn't close. Individual Presidential votes really "don't count" with the Electoral College in existance.

4. Have an African-American run for office this shouldn't be a surprise. I would imagine you would have similar results if a Latino where running.

5. He opted out of public money when he said that he would take it if his opponent did. We are now hearing about supposed "back-tracking" on his issues. Does anybody need that much money if you have a vision for America? He talked about how anybody can achieve anything at his Election night speed. He left out one important fact...if you have the money as he surmized when he opted out of public financing.
