Barack Obama's $150 million September fundraising total is over a fifth of the total amount of money all the presidential candidates spent in the 2004 election.

Where can I find out what each party spent per presidential election in each election since 1960?

Win the election first

If he can raise this much money for an election campaign; imagine what he could do for the country. Imagine what his ideas could do for our economy, jobs and health care.

One way to add a quick 10 billion per month to our economy would be to end the war in Iraq.

But how much have they spent?

I need a simple question answred: how much have McCain and Obama spent (or projected)... why is that such a secret?

Maybe, if the candidate reduced their spending to a reasonably justifiable level and used the rest of the contributed funds to help foreclosed homeowners to save their homes we wouldn't have a financial crisis.
