Had it not been for the fact of Senator Obama running for President. There would have never been a white female Vice President. 43 white only male only Presidents and NEVER in the history of the country did a white Republican respect a white female for President or Vice President. Just think about it White America, all you had to do to get white presidents to respect a white female was to support a black American for President! Senator Obama is the only reason for Gov. Palin. Blacks are accuse of only voting for Senator Obama because he is black. This is so un-true and surly not base on black voting history. Black voted for Bill Clinton 89% and Jimmy Carter 87%. Blacks not whites fought and died to vote for white men. In 1920 the passing of the 19 Amendment gave white women the right to vote for white men. McCain's pick is affirmative action 101. A token female is a understatement.!!! But Obama is to thank for the first time in history a white women is finally respected by white male president candidate republican. Gov. Palin has no overseas experince.! She only been in elected office for 6 years. Four years as Mayor of about 9,000 and 2 years as Governor of Alaska population 700,000. She is a mother of five and under investigation for abuse of office! Another thing that the white pundits will not say. Never in the history of the country did a white male repubican candidate feel the need to respect a white woman for vice president! WHITE WOMEN....ALL TOGETHER..'''SAY''' THANK YOU OBAMA!

WHAT OUR FOUNDING FATHER DID NOT COUNT ON

The big problem in this country is Capitalism and the economic system . And the greatest thing in the country is Capitalism. How ?Capitalism and the economic system plus WHITE GREED has destroy the possiblilty of capitalism working properly. Remember Rev Wright he spoke of WHITE GREED. But he was hated for speaking the truth. Now all of America is living the results of WHITE GREED and the disrespect of capitalism. The mostly white government has taken advanage of all the American people in their position. After cheating lying discriminating murder and voting 43 white Presidents into office . Whites today find thereself in the same boat as non-white Americans. 4,187 Americans dead in Iraq both white and non-whites ( 90,000 injury). 275 Americans dead in Afghanistan whites and non-whites ( 14,000 injury) . 600,000 to a million American losing there homes whites and non-whites. Food and gas prices are just as high for whites as for non-whites. The real crazy thing is that less then 1% of American owns 90% of it's wealth. So McCain and President Bush and the republican party ideal of tax breaks for the rich.(DID NOT WORK)_ They are talking about taking care of 1% of America. See the republican party believe that the rich will spend there extra money and therefore jump the economy.WRONG! Reagan's trickel down system. Capitalism fails under the McCain Republicans system. In other words the rich get richer and poor gets poorer and middle class pays the bill. So many politician are in the pockets of big company. Politician can't say no to the freebee the company give away .And who suffers? ALL OF AMERICANS!

Uninformed voters are unpatriotic

Joe Biden has been a respected U.S. senator for 36 years. You can't attack his character much, which is why we don't see him much in the press. He is just an honest man with integrity. After the VP debate, 87% of Americans polled (reported by CNN) said he was qualified to be president (that means he had most of the Republicans also to pull that kind of number). Now if Obama is a terrorist because he served along side of one, you must be saying that his VP must also take this view? Would anyone like to try to call Joe Biden a terrorist, after all he the running mate of one? Do you seriously think Joe Biden would sign onto this ticket if any of these claims had any truth to them?!?!? Do your research and then talk intelligently! Uninformed voters are unpatriotic!

McCain;s Bail Out Plan

Let me get this straight; to improve the value of my home I should let the government bail out my neighbor by using my tax money to make or reduce his mortgage. I have been paying on my home for 18 years he has had his for less than four years; he makes about 30% more then I do, drives a car 4 years newer than mine, has a nice truck and boat and went to Spain for two weeks vacation last spring. Maybe I can pay for another garage in his back yard and help build it for him; wouldn’t that also improve the value of my property? When McCain started his race for the White House he stated he knows very little about finances and it shows. When he took his 7 hours out of the campaign to work on the bail out Republicans and Democrats both said they were on their way to developing a plan when he came in and screwed it all up; that by the way is the plan that failed! McCain also said he would not attend the debates if there was not a plan in place; there was only a failed plan but he attended (failed was okay?). He says he went to Washington and got things going but his campaign gesture backfired; his efforts were not productive, he made more problems than he solved, the plan failed, and he did not keep his word. He also says he saw this coming years ago and warned about it; why did he not do something more then; he did not push it, he did not introduce any bills, he did not organize any efforts, if he saw it coming did he not have an obligation to do more than mention it????

Mortgage & Economy

Purchasing a home over the years was so you had a place to live. There were income/debt requirements by lending institutions that were in place so you could not over-extend yourself. They also required a down payment and if you didn't put down 20% you had to pay for PMI so they had protection in case you defaulted on the loan. For some reason some decided that everyone "no matter what" should own a home, their debt, income, or down paymen wasn't a factor. In fact some lending institutions loaned them more money to buy a second and third home. Of course these were homes they were flipping to make money. I'm sorry but I am ticked that now all of us get to pay for people that "were taken advantage of". Guess reading the fine print doesn't matter anymore, kind of like running up 100k of credit card debt purchasing things you couldn't afford.

I don't think hard working americans that have followed the rules should have to suffer for their "rescue". Homes were never a short term investment in my lifetime, it was always a long term investment. They need to do away with "mark to market", homes have always fluctuated in value depending on the local market.

I just have one question, why was our elected officials not paying attention to what was going on?

Also, I hope that Nancy Pelosi does not get her way for $150 billion stimulus plan that just puts us further in debt.

Her and Barney Frank have done enough damage already. I'm tired of seeing my 401k going down due to all the damage by risky loans and know that if the democrats win taxing us more will be their answer.

I think McCains mortgage idea makes sense. It's simple homeowners were taken advantage off, and maybe pushed their income to the limit, but did not set out to foreclose on their homes. The government is going to give these banks millions of dollars to rescue them, but nothing for the American consumer. Just for your info I am not one of those losing their homes. Why shouldn't the government buy these loans which in turn would help the banks, then reduce the payment and interest and possibly extend the repayment time line so that homeowners could stay in their home. It seems to me everyone would win and the government would get their investment back in the long run. If we let the foreclosures continue, the value of realistate will continue to decrease and these properties will either sit empty or be sold for a fraction of the amount owed.Simply mathematics. We could listen to Obama and that's what we will get. As for Bill Ayers, yes it does matter. This man, Obama, nothing racial meant, has had many questionable ties. Think people, do you love your country and care about your children and grandchildren, then I think you need to question somebody who refuses to wear a flag on his lapel, or salute the American flag, or who has associations with radicals that bomb our pentagon and other government buildings. As for the wiretapping, guess what I don't approve of everything that has occured in the Bush years but, SO WHAT. If wiretapping will help with homeland security and help to protect this country why do we care. The people concerned with this activity after seeing the devestation of 9/11 must have some terrible things to hide.
