How Will Sarah Palin Do Against Joe Biden in Thursday Night's Debate?

PALIN/BIDEN

WITH ALL THE CRAMMING THAT PALIN HAS BEEN THROUGH THESE FEW DAYS IN SEDONA, AZ, AND IF SHE REMEMBERS EVERYTHING "THEY" ARE CRAMMING THROUGH HER BRAIN, SHE MIGHT MAKE SENSE THIS TIME. OTHERWISE, WE WILL HAVE ANOTHER SKIT ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, WHICH I LOOK FORWARD TO. AS FOR BIDEN, BESIDE TALKING TOO MUCH, HE WILL SHOW US THAT HE HAS WHAT IT TAKE TO BE AN EFFECTIVE VICE PRESIDENT.

What has Sara read?

Sara Palin has already lost the debate so far as I am cpncerned. She couldn't tell Katie Couric the title of a single book that she has read and couldn't identify any magazines, newpaperes or television programs which keep her informed of matters other than Alaska. She showed herself to be a rambling nincompoop. She should never become president of the United States of America.

Short Question Periods Favor Sarah

Sarah is good at quick hits and poor when she has make a comprehensive case. Biden knows this and is not taking her alleged shallowness for granted.

Joe is going to have to take the offensive and should avoid elaborate defense when attacked. it should be quite a contest.

debate

she doesn't stand a chance with a debate with joe biden. he is much more experienced in all aspects.

Palin for V.P.

Go Sarah,

America is so proud of you. Finally we are seeing someone with character, integrity and honesty besides McCain and a few others in a government position. Sarah, just be yourself and you will do great. Of course the moderator is another story, .... Biased with a huge conflict of interest. I wonder if she will try and push her book.

Palin's Done

I'm sorry but there is no way she'll stand a chance. All her other interviews have been horrible. Sure she is preparing however since she can't even answer a question (Charles Gibson, Katie Couric) she's DONE. And think about some of the things she has said about dinasours, Russia, & the Bush Doctrine! She's not VP material by any means let alone President of the US.

Sarah Palin

I like Sarah Palin because she represents the true American dream. Rising up from humble beginnings to pursue a highly sucessful political career. To become the most popular governor in the largest most diverse state in the US. Alaska is the front-guard for America. During the winter months the Russian army could just simply walk into Alaska. During the Cold War Alaska was well manned and members of the US Air Force pulled tours of duty there for 12 months at a time, on watch for a Russian intrusion. I know those days well because I served in the Air Force for 30 years and in Alaska twice.

The press that degrades the importance of Alaska to our national defense needs to get better educated. If an attack is launched from Russia it will most likely come through Alaska which is a far reaching wilderness full of rugged people who know well what their governor Palin has done for them. Instead of corruption there's now honest representation.

Not everyone is a great orator or blessed with the power to get their point across on a subject that they don't discuss daily, I'm that way but when I do get it all down no one can out do me in voicing my knowledge of the subject. And I truly believe Governor Palin will do this country a tremendous service if the media will stop misrepresenting her and give her a fair shot. She may just turn out to be the best VP we have had in a long time.

Not Sure How Palin will do

I'm not so sure about what will happen on Thursday. Will Sarah Palin debate well? She certainly could. She has had one whole week to study and "cram" for this debate with GOP advisors. If I had a whole week to study for a few test questions, I think I could ace it. But then again, I was an "A" student in college and didn't flunk out of 5 institutions before getting my degree.

Will Joe Biden debate well? It looks good. He certainly has the experience. If he can keep his answers to the point and not be long-winded and risk maybe flubbing a few facts here and there. The real question for Biden is, will he go after Sarah Palin hard or back off because she's a woman and doesn't want to appear sexist?

Either way, I'll be watching.

Biden owned McCain in Senate; Palin is toast

The first video I saw of Joe Biden on YouTube: it was a debate taking place in the senate (on the war in Iraq) where Biden literally rips John McCain apart, including the GOP for backing Bush's half-witted policies. Go look if you'd like.

What does the U.K. have that the U.S. lacks, but sorely needs? Not a queen, a parliament, or a home secretary, but a law passed in 2000 that requires British companies to seek authorization from their shareholders for corporate political spending. Americans need these same protections afforded to British shareholders.
