This bailout is a political bailout. The democrats are right, the republicans have been irresponsible in taking care of America and it's citizens and their economic future.. The republicans are right, the democrats have been irresponsible in taking care of America and it's citizens and their economic future. Both parties are in agreement. So are the voters.

Wal Street Bail Out States Problems Too

I'm not an economic genius, but I am a smart small business owner.. I have a plan for the bailout that will help wall street, help economy, and protect tax payers..

Here goes:

1. Buy out bad mortgage debt 70 cents on the dollar in todays fair market value of the asset..

2. Banks/investment firms do not get to choose which debt the government purchases: its all or nothing..

3. Create government branch to manage sale of assets..

4. Make State gevernments 10% responsible for the bad assets taken over in their own states..

Its that simple... The bank/investment firm does not get totally bailed out, so we dont have to worry as much about these fat cats getting paid: its still going to hurt them. We protect the tax payers money by purchasing something that we get an immediate 30% profit on. This does not give the banks the ability to choose (good bad debt) from (bad bad debt). And some of these states like California and Colorado that let these bad lending laws happen get a hit too for bad government..

THATS RIGHT - I SAID SOME OF THESE STATE POLITICIANS ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS: states control lending laws also, so why do I in Texas have to pay for Califoria's and Colorado's misakes????????????????????????????????????????

Senate Bailout Plan

It's clear the Senate nor House has a clue!! It's time to vote all of these Incumbutts out of office and start over. Give the next group of "Geni-not-for-us" a chance to come up with a new plan. I'm not in the market for this much PORK. Obama said it. You can dress a PIG up and put lipstick on it, but it's still a Pig--and this Rescue Plan (HA! HA! didn't know NASCAR needed rescuing) is one FAT PIG and I'm not buying it!

Wall Street Bailout

Scrap the Wall Street bailout plan and start again. It is so full of tax breaks and pork to "Sweeten" the plan. If the house republicans and democrats approve it now, I have to assume that they were holding the country hostage to get thier cut of the pie. Put a plan together without the tax breaks and pork then get it approved.

To all you parents out there would you designate in your will a person who is unfit to be a parent to become the legal guardian of your children if God forbid something happened to you? Well, 72 year old, "Country First" John McCain has done just that by his disastrous pick of Sarah Palin as his VP. It is silly, really. And we might be able to let silly slide in peaceful times but with two wars, with Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea all aiming to go nuclear, with tensions with Russia over Georgia mounting again, and China racing to start its own Space Program all while the U.S. economy is crumbling at home, SILLY IS JUST PLAIN DANGEROUS! John McCain sacrificed the safety and well-being of our country for a hopeful block of votes! This shows serious lack of judgement in this matter. I know many people like Sarah Palin and she is likeable, but let's face it, Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears are about as qualified as she to run the country! We have few allies left in this world and our competitiveness in the world is slipping. Americans sometimes take what we have for granted but we need to remember we aren't entitled to all the resources we have in this country, we need to compete globally for them. Wake up, John McCain put us at serious risk and this is not a president we want to run the country.

Palin

I too would not name a single publication as choice of reading material for fear of offending Time if I read Newsweek more often, and I also read most of today's top news magazines. It is possible for folks to read more than one magazine or newspaper. Really. Mrs. Palin's choice of Prolife is for herself, not the people of the world. And as for the Supreme Court Justices...what do they do besides listen to appeals and return decision making to the states? Hmmm? I'll wager not many among the media know EXACTLY what the SCJ's do. So.. go ahead and cast stones when all you are capable of is talk. Liberals are not listening very carefully. It appears foolish left-wingers, media included, pick and choose Mrs. Palin's words in order to demean and dissect her wisdom, intelligence and common sense. John McCain is not G. Bush. He is not a carbon copy and he and Mrs. Palin will lead us forward. I for one am weary of the circus the liberals are directing with such vigor. Members of the media who wilfully perpetuate the ridiculous staging should be ashamed. And Katie Couric..tut, tut.

Perhaps Sarah Palin should take acting lessons in order to keep up with the expectations of the media as well as the Hollywood uneducated performers and their groupies. It appears money cannot take the crude edges off these folks. The distasteful media and Hollywood vulgars will not choose our President and Vice-President. No..you won't. and we choose McCain-Palin.

The 2009 off-year elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York's 23d Congressional District offer a small snapshot of the current views and motivations of the American electorate. While there may be a desire to extrapolate the events of Nov. 3, 2009 into a prediction of what will happen on Nov. 2, 2010, that is impossible.
