Obama may say that he supports some gun rights, but remember he supported the DC gun ban. Don't trust him. McPain and Bitem also has a gun grabbing tendencies. Palin is the only trustworthy one in the bunch.

You don't understand

The phrase "supports the second amendment" doesn't mean the same thing to a politician as it does to a person. To Mr Obama this phrase does NOT mean that people can be allowed to have the rights they are accustomed to in most of the country. He has consistently said that we need "reasonable" gun laws. On campaign stops were he thinks gun owners won't be listening he says that a wide ranging and permanent "assault rifle" ban is reasonable. He has consistently said that the laws in Chicago and the old DC ban (complete bans on any type of carry, bans on handguns and strict storage requirements) are reasonable. Don't be fooled by political double talk. Barack Obama's ideas of "reasonable" don't match with sportsmen or with the constitution.

Yeah, he only did so AFTER the Heller decision, and only CLAIMS to support it. In November Obama stated that he believed that the D.C. gun bans were Constitutional. Bans that DENY the INDIVIDUAL right to keep and bear arms! Plus, if nObama is so strongly pro second ammendment why did'nt he sign the congressional brief urging that the DC gun law be overturned by the Supreme Court? 55 Senators and 250 members of the House signed it. Obama was NOT one of them. Neither was Biden. (McCain signed it)

What nObama SAYS dos'nt mean squat, his actions show where he truly stands. He's only been "pro gun" since he started running for POTUS. His past actions have all been rabidly anti-second ammendment.

Obama's wiping his ass with the Constitution is enough reason to not want him as POTUS so your hint that there may be "other reasons you'd rather keep hidden behind an absurd gun argument" dos'nt fly here.

With nObama's "truth police" and attempts to have TV stations stop airing the NRA adds, among others, nObama's shown us what he thinks of the 1st ammendment. His past actions speak for what he thinks of the 2nd ammendment as well.

I'm totally convinced that if Barak der fuhrer Obama gets elected, coupled with a democrat dominated congress, we'll have a dictator in the White House. None of our rights will be safe.

We wont even be safe in our own homes and would most likely be criminalized for defending our families and ourselves from the violent criminals who would be emboldened by the disarmed populance that der Fuhrer would turn us into!

Obama can try and distract us from his record of supporting every anti gun bill he's seen. He can try too pull a John Kerry, and assasinate a duck this season, but it will be a waste of time.

Lets also not forget he's endorsed by hamas, friends with 60's radical leftwing bomb throwers, supported by racists like Louis Farrahklan, and spent 20 years in a church listening to inane rants about how evil America is and how our government created AIDS to kill black people.
