McCain on bailout

Ok, this morning McCain was taking credit for the bail-out and talking bad about Obama again, blaming Obama for not making a decision and putting him down, and trying to act like he saved the world. He took credit for the bailout before finding out that it failed. He comes back on tv to blame Obama for the bailout failing. What is wrong with this man, does he think that americans are stupid? Does everybody notice that after every speech, he has to come back on to explain his stupid statements. Do you notice he calls us "my friends" with every sentence?

Palin's Bad Interview

Governor Palin's interview with Katie Couric reminded me of Miss Teen South Carolina response to a geography question asked in 2007.

I agree with the "Irate in the GOP" from NY Comment

I agree with your comment that I do not know what school Palin went to but her lack of coherency and her inability to talk about a common knowledge affairs of the world is very appauling. She acks like there is something wrong some where as you watch her interview with Katie Couric. Her knowledge is so limited to Alaska vicinity that it makes a grown man cry of her lack of broader scope in understaing of the world we live in today. She attributes her foreign policy experience to living next door to russia and being able to see it from Alaska, this is the worst thing I have ever heard from a 72 heart beats away to be president of the USA. George Bush seems to be better than Palin in reading and knowing whats going on around us.

Palin/Biden debate

Let's watch what the party and McCain have crammed into Palin's head in these few days. I just heard she is going to Sedona, Az to McCain's resort to cram all his believes into her before the debate. Hope she has a good memory and doesn't tell americans that she will get back to us. As a vice-president, Palin does not help McCain in anyway accept she's better looking than McCain. Although Biden sometimes says things before thinking about it, he will be telling us the truth and will help Obama with decision about world issues. Did anybody catch what McCain said during his debate with Obama? He said to Obama, "you never say that out loud" and I wonder what important information he would keep from us. I just watched his speech in Ohio and he keeps repeating the same old lies about Obama. The Palin/Biden debate will not change my mind in anyway and I want what is best for the United States and my choice is Obama and Biden

We can all get along!

I couldn't agree more with the sentiments of Irate in the GOP NY. I wish both parties could get beyond win lose and look to common sense.

Republican Protests Palin Pick

I am a faithful GOP voter who has voted Republican for every election (GHW Bush 2x, worked on McCain's 2000 campaign and finally GW Bush 2x), have donated thousands to GOP including McCain over the years. I initially found the Palin pick alarming but suspended judgment when my Republican friends urged me to wait and see, and to consider her executive experience. I think she probably did a good although not entirely above reproach job as both mayor and governor (those who cite the Alaskan debt should bear in mind that costs ran over significantly due to the eminent domain lawsuit filed, something that is not entirely her fault). I am firmly in the moderate Republican camp as I am a devout Protestant Christian who personally opposes abortion but would not dictate another woman's choice no matter how morally repugnant to me, I have been a passionate believer in the marketplace and free trade, I am an army veteran and I have rejected for years the Democratic party's enshrining of race and gender victimology politics and the pernicious view that people don't need to own responsibilities along with their rights. With all that said, I am voting for the first time in my entire life for the Democratic platform. McCain's terrifying gadfly behavior and Palin's alarming incoherence (I don't give a damn how much time she spent in school or where; I do care passionately that she has not spent any portion of her adult life studying any issues outside her home state). Although I have been less than enchanted with the past 8 years, I am even more alarmed by the potential of a McCain/Palin White House. Fellow Republicans - wake up to the rot in our party. Let's be more judicious in our choices of who represents us.

McCain and Hillary???

Dear Mrs. Ruth Tucker,

Why don't you just come out and say it..anybody but a black person..McCain and Hillary??? What side of the solar system are you on? And how is it that Hillary's ideas don't mirror Obama's..and if you were paying attention, you would see that McCain and Obama openly admit that they share the same view on MANY issues. So please, say what you mean, mean what you say, and do a little more homework before you decide to try to singlehandedly end bi-partisanship.

I am a Democrat, but party titles need to be set aside. Our country is failing. John McCain, get rid of Sarah Palin! Do whatever it takes to get Hillary Clinton to join you to save our country. Hillary loves America and will give her all to save us. She can lead and gain the support to give American voters a choice. Remove America's fear Sarah Paulin and give America a choice so that we can look at the issues and vote to Save America.

Sarah Palin

Sarah's recent interview shows her weaknesses. Reminds me of someone else named George. They recite words that have no meaning and say them with a certain smugness and manner that implies there is no doubt in their minds. She seems so self assured and does not sense that what she is saying just does not add up. It it makes me feel embarrassed for her that she does not know how silly she sounds!
