Seriously? Joe Biden Mixes Up Depression History
Biden may need a refresher course in American history
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.' "
—Joe Biden to Katie Couric on CBS Evening News
(In 1929, the television was still in experimental stages and Herbert Hoover was president.)

Get real
I am a Republican and I can tell you that this attack on the VP is complete garbage. J. Biden used the "stock market crash" as a general reference to the great depression, which was at it's peak in 1933-1934 when nearly half of the banks in the USA closed down. FDR's new deal saved America and he took office right in the middle of it (not unlike Obama today), and his comment about the "TV" was the only slip of the tongue, which was an obvious "contemporary reference" to the media anyhow (they used movie cameras then you geniuses). The comments that “Joe Biden is uneducated or stupid” were made by people who are not qualified to shine this man’s shoes! Get real.
Way to go America, Biden's a Winner
Why do people think Joe Biden would make a better VP than Sarah Palin? Because of the liberal media influencing too many clueless citizens. They buy into what they hear on the news stations and SNL and neglect to take seriously stupid comments like this one, into consideration in their decision making. They say Obama and Biden give children a new "hope" to become anything they want, so as the democrats got their way, we can expect to see many more children growing up to be corrupted politicians without a clue of their nation's history, because clearly, even unexperienced and poorly educated people can become VP's of the US.
And nobody said "change" was always for the better...
are you serious?
I don't know why people thought that he would make a better president than Palin. She at least knows what she wants to do. Biden on the other hand doesn't even know who was president during the Great Depression! Why didn't the press jump on this more? Has America turned into complete idiots that don't know who was president during the Great Depression
