People say they are unclear about Obama

What is there to be unclear about? We have had 8 years of lies and favorism towards oil companies,banks drug companies and nothing to help the poor and middle class.He has voted with Bush over 90 percent of the times. I will stand behind our troops always but we should have went over there and did what we were suppose to do in the shortest time possible and we didn't because we were not prepared like we thought we were. In fact they were better prepared then we were.We spend 10 billion dollars a month for over 6 years while the Iraq government only spends 7 billion dollars a year for security? We could very well use this money over here on things such as health care for every American,affordable prescriptions, help with foreclosures, protect are pensions, easier to afford college,and these are only a few this list goes on and on.If we elect McCain and Palin you think its bad now hold on because it will get 10 times worse.By the way I do not have a party I vote for the persons running for office. I can not believe the people say they are Democrats or Republicans and they are crossing over where is the loyality? Take the good with the bad.Lets not just vote for Palin just because she is a woman lets vote for the person that can do the job because I'm sure Hillary would not want it this way and in my opinion I think when Obama gets elected President Hillary will have a cabinet post.Everyone needs to vote!

McCain said the same thing. So did Bush. So did Cheney. When you can't defend the last eight years you create controversies that seek to divide. What's shameless is your comment and the divisive issues you seek to retain the status quo. Have you no shame?

Gimme A Break

When I read the whiny comments coming from certain people I am ashamed to call myself a Republican. I have totally lost respect for my party over the past eight years as they have become nothing more than a bunch of hypocritical losers. Not only have the Republicans lost credibility they have also lost sight of what they are supposed to be doing. They have become nothing more than a bunch of self righteous, bible thumping, flat-earthers. Instead they snipe at the press when anything bad is written about them but they suck right up when the press goes after the Democrats. Don't pry into poor Sarah Palins background or family but they willingly attack any female Democrat as being weak and pry into the minutae of their personal lives.

Meanwhile, the Russians are resurgent, health costs spiral out of control, Bin Laden is still running loose, and the economy sucks. But the really important things to the Republican party are gays, guns, and abortion. GIMME A BREAK!

The saddest part is that with all the openings the Repub's give them the Democrats are still afraid to attack.

Republican = HYPOCRITICAL LOSERS

Democrat = GUTLESS WIMPS

Rediculous

All of you who are outraged.... did any of you hear or read what Obama actually said? The media and the McCain campaign have blown this way out of proportion. The comment was not even remotely directed at Sarah Palin. He was using a common phrase to describe John McCain's policies. The 'Pig' in the comment is indended to represent the policies of George W. Bush. I like Palin and would defend her here if I really thought that Obama had intended to insult her. But, the fact is that he did not.

Lipstick line- shame on you !

I think that Sarah Palin is an adorable woman, and using this sort of offensive language towards her will only backfire tenfold for Mr. Obama's campaign. People are very sensitive on using certain words, and certain phrases, especially women. It's absolutely out of place to even use language like this in politics in general. Using words like "pig", or "stinking fish" certainly offends every woman,and most men, and can cost certain candidate a presidency. My advice for the remainder of the presidential campaign : Please THINK FIRST, before you say something as stupid, as the "pig talk". Our country is about to elect a LEADER- someone that will lead our nation towards the future, someone that our children will be looking up to for an example.

Obama and McCain

Who or what do you think Obama is piggy backing onto???? That should be everyone's concern. What does he really know about protecting the safety and well being of our country and its citizens?

lipstick-

Ah- an indication of what the future of America holds-the feeling of a possible VP is bruised with a refence to lipstick- I shutter at the thought of really serious comments!

pigs and lipstick

I don't know about lipstick on pigs, but I do know that McCain is piggy backing on Palin.

Disgraceful... are you SERIOUS??!!

I am going to be honest and say that I am COMPLETELY fed up with people saying that the comment made by Senator Obama is sexist, disrespectful, or disgraceful. Is this honestly what politics is coming to?!? Are harmful and innocent comments really going to decide this election?!? Why are we so absorbed in this when there are SO many more important things going on in our world! Since we are deciding to focus on it... let's get it right folks! Late last year, when asked about Hillary Clinton's healthcare policy he specifically said that it is like putting "lipstick on a pig." So all of you who are casting your vote for McCain had better start doing a little research... and if you do you may actually figure out that your beloved candidate made the EXACT same comment but when asked directly about Hillary!! Did Palin's name come up AT ALL with Obama's lipstick comment...NO because he is more tasteful than that.

I am female. I don't appreciate the comment "lipstick on a pig" in any context at all. He didn't choose Hilary or another woman as a running mate.

I think for a male to even say the lipstick on a pig comment is very degrading to women.

I wish he had not said it. Are we still at this point where putting female lipstick on an animal does not make it a pretty female????

A female pig is a pig, and a female human is a human.

Does a female human have to be judged on if she looks like a pig or on her looks at all. What if Sara or Hillary were ugly??

Does that discount their contribution to society as a whole.

Go put the lipstick on a pig and it won't be a pretty female. But, it won't be a Hilary or Sara either.

Stop putting lipstick on the pig. Us human females don't like our lipstick on pigs.

With this election as others, it is the lesser evil. At least McCain chose a female running mate. So, that is why I will vote McCain.

of OH

___

Well then, you do not listen.

McCain Chose Palin because she sucks. He knows he might get ioll again, and that age is not with him. Since he could be removed from office for illness, he got a sucky running mate to assure they keep him. Who would want her for Pres? Also, Obama did not mean the female, and if he did, McCain used it on Hillary directly.

I hope you like swallowing truth pills, here's your first dosage.
