WOW PEOPLE!!

I'm sure u guys are all awesome but if ur spending ur time commenting on things like these then seriously u NEED TO GET LIVES!!! I would NEVER be here if it wasn't for this project.....

I hate all you people

You seem so pro-McCain and it's bothering me because I'm just here for a school project and I actually like Obama. McCain lies directly during the debates. I'm a kid and I noticed that. COME ON!

Is John McCain too old?

The numerical age of 72 does not make John too old, however his health issues, his lack of judgement and his constant references to the past, I think there were 45 in the debate and unfortunately the 5 years he spent as a pow combine to make him too old and fragile to be President.

New trends in America

Older adults are living longer and healther these days. The public needs to get used to this trend. Especially with the "baby boomer's" getting up in age. The official retirement age has gone up and technological and medical advances are on the rise. I expect to see many older adults in important leadership positions and I beleive that this is for the better.

McCain's Age

He is too old. Regardless of his present health, which is not that good to begin with, he is at the age where it doesn't take much to begin a downhill slide. Anyone who has elderly parents or friends knows this. I have had friends who were healthy and out on the golf course at age 72 and in a nursing home at age 74. Even scarier than McCain dying in office is the thought of him becoming incapacitated and everyone trying to cover up for him.

too old

john mccain too old no it dosent matter how old you are it is based upon weather you can run the country the right way and make descisions under pressure mccain can make a good president.

Is McCain too old to be President?

I keep thinking that this is a rhetorical question. Along the lines of "Is the Pope Catholic" or "Does a wild bear **** in the woods". Of course he is. This is no time to inaugurate the oldest President in history. Especially if he belongs to the same political party as the previous adminstration that may well be the modern reincarnation of the "Herbert Hoover era" of American economics. There are no Republican coat tails here for McCain to hang on to. And so he is now attempting to distance himself from the Republican base and become a maverick candidate. Don't you think that he should have chosen Joe Lieberman for his running mate given this strategy? At least they are kindred spirits.

Is John McCain too old?

Here's the deal. There is a photo gallery that shows how much a President of the United States ages during the course of his presidency. Bill Clinton aged quite a bit and he was in his 40's when he bacame president. Now comes John McCain at the ripe old age of 72. Apply the aging coefficient to him and he will be done by the second year of his term. The Democrats could have chosen a much older politician that Obama to run for President but they chose a youger man for good reason. 20 years of aging to a President in office. McCain is too old to be President, especially if you consider his medical history.
