Wrong Choice

I am sorry Senator McCain your judgement is screwed up. You must have been thinking choosing a beautiful woman will make all the women jump to your rescue. My friend you are 72 years old and the best you could have done was pick someone that will at least be able to rule this country in these hard times. You just surprised the country and the world. You even surprised your VP pick. You met this lady once and decided to offer her the VP of this great country. I was expecting you to do better than what you did. I do not know who you advisers are, but they also messed up. May be you are acting like HWBush - being ignorant and arrogant. How will these lady handle or even help you run the country. She is no HILLARY. Hillary has what it takes but your beauty queen does not. You would have done better of with choosing MITT, HUCK, RIDGE, HUCHINSON, LIB, CONDI, CRIST, PAWLANTI, PERRY, or any person from the battle ground states. Your choice and judgement are horrible. I do not forsee you becoming the next president of the United States of America. All my republican friends are now going to vote for Obama, the next president of the United States of America. May God bless the USA.

The mainstream media and democrats

all must have lost their ability to reason intelligently. How can you say that a 'community organizer' (whatever that really is) who served as a US Senator for 148 days before announcing his candidacy, who has NEVER authored any piece of legislation that has become law is more experienced or qualified than Sarah Palin.

She has been a mayor, and is now governor. She is the CIC of the Alaska National Guard. She is a mother, a business woman, and a reformer.

With the mainstream media so in the tank for Obama, the democrats may think that they have the election locked up, but I think they are in for a rude awakening. Most people are not quite so dumb as the DNC seems to think.

How on earth can democrats seriously believe that Obama is for 'change' with his pick of Biden, a 35 year Washington insider? The only change Obama wants is from capitalism to socialism.

If there is ONE person in the democrat party who could intelligently explain ANY factual qualifications that Obama has to be president, I have yet to hear them express it. The ONLY thing he has EVER done is give a good speech. Big deal.

His associations show incredible lack of judgment. His denials of those associations show arrogance, hypocrisy, and inability to tell the truth. He is a corrupt, lying, America hating, socialist who is power hungry. Voting for him would be the dumbest thing anyone who loves America could ever do.

McCain's Shocking Choice for VP

McCain's pick for VP is a silly one. It shows his "me too" desperation to add some "newness" and "sex appeal" to his campaign that has nothing new to say - other than bashing his opponent.

I loved Sarah Palin's energy in her speech this morning as she accepted his pick. She's a gutsy gal and there's everything to like about that. However - this is a woman who's held state office for less than two years now and before that she was the mayor of Wasilla Alaska a city with a population of just over 8,000. No federal experience and I thought as she was speaking - I wonder how many times she's visited Washington, DC.

McCain's pick underestimates the intelligence of American women. The reason women wanted Hillary as President is because they said over and over she was the most qualified person. They called her "the candidate of a lifetime." Palin is pretty much the opposite of that.

Palin's not up for the Presidency - only the VP slot. But you've got a woman who knows nothing about national and international politics and has less than two years of state experience in politics and McCain is willing to put her just a heartbeat away from the Presidency with a presidential candidate who just turned 72 today and has fought cancer four times. That's irresponsible and that's putting politics first, winning first and not country first.

McCain mistakenly thinks as long as he picks a woman - women will jump to vote for her no matter what her experience level and her neo-conservative stance on important issuces.

Oh, Palin is currently under investigation for abuse of power. Nice.

Until McCain illustrated His Judgment

After the announcement of Sarah Palin as McCain's VP choice, Obama's "bounce" is about to become a "trounce"!

At age 72, John McCain should not be driving a car (does he remember what type of car he owns?), let alone driving the country. Clearly his judgment is now in question over the pick of a beauty queen, mayor of an 8,000 residents city.

Yes, Sarah is a sight for sore eyes, but presidential timber? I think not.

On November 5th, Obama should sent McCain flowers with the date "August 29, 2008" written on the note. In this choice, McCain proved that not only is his association with Bush a reason not to vote for him, but so is his judgment.
