why

why did mccain state that he will make sure that the well-meaning , deserving people will keep their homes . doesnt everyone deserve to be in a home or at least a shelter even if they can pay or not . they all deserve to be alive in a safe place not on the street .

The "McCain Housing Crisis"

Lets grow up people. Why do we keep picking on John McCain for having 7 houses? They aren't his. They are Cindy's. He doesn't even know what all she owns. Shes loaded. What is he supposed to do, force her to sell her houses to win an election? Thats something Obama would do, not McCain. Grow up. courtesy of thejohnmccainblog.com

the election

I would estimate that 80-85% of those who will actually vote in November have already made up their minds. I, campaign ads notwithstanding, will not consider voting for Sen. Obama.

So, are the millions the candidates will spend on campaign advertisements between now and the election worth the votes of the 15-20% who have not made up their minds?

McCain Homes

It doesn't make Cindy McCain a stupid women to have all the houses in her name. She knows she took him from another woman and left her and his children with nothing. With everything being in her name, she probably can be sure that if he left her, he wouldn't be able to take what HER FATHER worked so hard for. That makes her pretty darn smart in my book. Nevertheless he does get to enjoy the victors spoils! It also makes John McCain look like a weak man. He choose the big bucks over Family Values. And I thought the Republicans were the Moral party.!

McCain and Obama: in fairness

In fairness, to McCain, the houses are owned by his wife and his minimal interest in accounting for their monetary worth implies only his observance of their pre-nuptial agreement (each keeps his/own properties, etc.) Why should that be counted against him? And, tell me, I though democracy meant any body can aspire to be president -- including the very rich, right?

Obama made friends with persons who later on were found to harbor less than politically correct ideas (or ideaologies). So? Is guilt by association now no longer anti-democratic?

Let's focus on their take on issues of governance, on their proposed solutions, on their platforms instead.
